Lovely visit to lake of Egypt, with a comfortable place to rest and play. We thoroughly enjoyed the patios, beach, kayaks, paddleboat, and dock.

Family and I had a great stay. Kids loved the private beach and fishing off the dock. Lake was great for kayaking as well. Great location, not far from all the state parks and great hiking. House did have few minor things that could be fixed... the lower level patio door doesn't lock properly and the upper bathroom towel bars were very loose and in need of repair. House was very well stocked with all the household items needed for everyday. Overall, we had a great experience staying at this property.

This was an amazing cabin to stay at. It came with one adult kayak and 3 kid kayaks which made for a fun time. It had a sandy beach entry that lead into the lake which was highly used! We definitely jumped off the dock more times than we can count. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and then some. The wildlife was active which included deer, turtles, birds, squirrels, and even a tortoise! The beds and pillows were super comfy (though one was super squeaky) and the sheets were so soft. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Very clean and nice property. Some suggestions for future renters: boxes of kleenex, extra blankets, ice maker turned on/working, more comfortable furniture upstairs, more comfortable mattress. Didn't sleep well on current mattress. Lock on sliding door in basement doesnt work. Thanks
