Beautiful. We stayed a month in between house moves. The location is quiet and in the middle of the countryside. We adapted very quickly to the space. The hut has everything you need to live, cook and clean. Great kitchen facilities and a fire pit. The owners are very lovely and on hand to help out with any issues, response times were same day if not same hour. This is a clean and stunningly well looked after farm with gardens that always made us feel happy as we drove down the lane to our hut. On a clear night the stars are incredible with no light pollution. We heard owls at night and saw birds of prey up close flying inches above the field chasing their prey, we were woken in the morning by the sound of pheasants and lambs. It was hard to leave behind and we will come back. Eastbourne is 25 minutes drive, the small village, about a 20 minute walk, has a nice pub serving food.

We loved everything about the shepherd's hut. It was well set out with everything you might need for a short stay. Although the shepherd huts are small it was very well thought out. Including washing machine/dryer, dishwasher full size oven and fridge. The shower and toilet area was well thought out again not feeling cramped. The bed was very comfortable. The hut was very clean with towels and clean stuff provided. It was a very quiet area at night and if you listen you can hear the owls. Great local area for visitors including shops, castle and observatory.

There was nothing not to like.

The Shepherds hut was exceptionally clean and surprisingly well equipped. The space has been used very cleverly. Our two dogs were welcomed and use of an enclosed field for 'off lead' time was possible and very much appreciated

The bed and pillows were not the best for us but that is possibly personal choice and no reflection on the property

Good location for touring. Well equipped. Outside space good.

It was advertised as a one bedroom holiday home so was shocked it was a shepherd's hut.
