Very disappointing accommodation

Good bakery along the road.

We struggled to find the the accommodation: the address provided for check in was different to that on the original booking & was actually in a different building. The person contacted for directions was unhelpful & just kept saying that we were 100 meters from the door, no attempt was made to help with directions. He also said to park up anywhere on the road (after parking, we later discovered that it was paid parking during the day). We couldn't get the car nearby to unload the luggage. Standard of accommodation was disappointing. Everything felt cheap & was not very clean, with several areas of cobwebs in every room. The extractor fans in the kitchen & bathroom are full of dust. The toilet brush is dirty. The TV did not work despite trying the instructions provided, I later found that the cable was not in properly at the back of the TV. The external lounge door is not secure. The apartment is not sound proof as claimed & their was a lot of noise from the neighbours. The handle is missing off the fridge door; the freezer door falls off when touched & as do the door sections. The apartment felt cold, the heaters are inadequate. I also don't appreciate being told prior to check in not to focus on minor negatives & to find something that we enjoyed about the place & share a positive review!

Okay for a one-night stay.

The apartment is spacious and in a good location, close to a tram stop that leads to the center of Basel. It has a TV with access to YouTube, and communication and check-in were easy.

Since the apartment is on the ground floor, there are glass doors that allow direct access from the apartment to the outside of the building. One of those doors had a problem with closing, which did not feel very secure.

We heard all noises from out of apartment, bas as we were tired, it was not a problem for sleeping.

There weren’t enough towels in the apartment for three people. They only left three small ones and one medium-sized towel. There was only one roll of toilet paper, and the shampoo bottle was completely empty. There was also a jar of coffee — also empty.

Great location, good value for money, flat is groundfloor

It is literally at the border so actually you can walk to first bus stop in Basel. The bus connection is good, but not for airport, you have to walk for 15’ to get to bus 50. Flat is really huge, with all the facilities and ammenities you need. I liked the fact toilet is separated from bathroom. We also ate at the restoran near by since we were there for Fachnacht and it was impossible to get food somewhere in Basel.

The heater in living room did not work and toilet is making strange noise after each flush.

Clean, modern, spacious place, in a convenient location.

Clean, modern, and instructions were thorough on how to get in (even a video). Also, they offered a lot of help for a taxi from the airport (I arrived late in the evening though). I loved how there is a bakery nearby that opens by 430am, and the bus stop is just outside (I used it to get to the St. Louis Gare-train station). The bus took credit card, but I heard not all the buses have a credit card machine.

Apartment seemed a little too cool (winter time) but then I realized some windows were slightly open for ventilation, and I wish the shower head was mantled up on the wall (it’s one of those long, hand held ones)-water pressure is amazing though.

A spot right on the F/ CH border. Walkable distance to Old Town Basel. Good communication with the host.

Really spacious flat in excellent location, just a minute walk to the F/ CH border. Good size kitchen annexe for our needs. Spacious bedroom and, unlike sometimes, large sofa bed in the lounge. Smooth, one key access to the property. Really easy to understand and thus to follow instructions from a responsive host.

This is not a complaint but merely a suggestion. The outside space could be better maintained and thus more inviting. As it is, one can still enjoy a bit of time in the outdoor space which, especially on a hot summer day/ in the evening, is really welcomed.

Nice, but not the one I booked

The owner phoned me on the morning of the day I was due to arrive and said he was moving me to another flat. First he said he had a lot of people staying, then that there was a problem with the water. He said it was only 400m from the original property but it was more than that. He did turn up to meet me at the flat but the extra distance was inconvenient because I was on a bicycle

Apartament molt ben situat, tranquil i ampli. La calefacció funciona molt bé i te l'equipament necessari per passar-hi uns dies.

Hagués agrait rebre les instruccions d'accés almenys amb 24 hores d'antelació, ja que el dia d'entrada no tenia accés a internet i em va ser més difícil organitzar-me. L'amfitrió va enviar moltes instruccions, alguna una mica confusa, i em va costar una estona trobar l'edifici. També hi va haver una confusió amb la durada de l'estada, però per sort es va poder resoldre. Correcte per un parell de dies.

Alloggio perfetto per chi intende visitare le città nei paraggi tra Francia, Svizzera e Germania.

Posizione eccellente per visitare la zona di Colmar e di Friburgo in Brisgovia, nonchè per Basilea (trovandosi nella sua periferia). Soluzione ottima per chi, con bimbi, non vuole andare al ristorante e preferisce consumare i pasti a casa.

Se fosse possibile avere il posto auto all'interno del cortile, considerato che ve ne erano diversi disponibili e forse sarebbe opportuno arricchire la dotazione in termini di pentole e stoviglie.

Og indtjekning h ar super de sente en video på whas app. Hvor de viste hvordan man fant lejlighed og nøgle. Samt hvor man kunne parkere gratis. En super god ide med video nor man skal finde en privat Lejlighed. Igen stor roser til udlejer for at gøre det så nemt.

It was easy to understand, and I think you can check in very smoothly once you know where to go. The location was also close to the border between Switzerland and France, so we crossed the border on foot.

これまで泊まった中で1番悪いホテルでした。５点問題があります。・窓が壊れており、ちゃんと閉まりません。・洗濯機が明らかに使用中で、誰か戻ってくるのではないかと不安になりました。・シャワーを浴びてる最中にお湯が出なくなり、暫く待っても解決することはありませんでした。・無料の公共駐車場があると書いてありましたが、具体的な場所の案内も無く、さらに実際にはありませんでした。近くのホテルのスタッフが助けてくれなければレッカーされていたかもしれません。・電話対応はとても酷く、今日は何もできない。返金もする気はない等、まったく解決する意思がない回答しか得られませんでした。以上。ここまでのことが起こると、お金をもらっても泊まりたくないホテルです。現在はとにかく退去したいので別のホテルを探しています。 This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. There are 5 PROBLEMS! - The window is broken and won't close properly. - The washing machine was obviously in use, which made me worried that someone would come back. - The hot water stopped working while I was taking a shower, and even after waiting for a while, the problem was not resolved. - It said there was free public parking, but there was no specific location information, and it actually didn't exist. If the staff at a nearby hotel hadn't helped, my car would probably have been towed away. - The phone service was terrible, and they couldn't do anything today. All I got were answers that showed no intention of resolving the issue, such as no intention of refunding my money. That's it. After all of this, I don't want to stay at this hotel even if invited to.
