Grand Waterfront Suite with Private terrace on the Leie Canal

Loved the feel of the furnishings and space that we had.

There was confusion about a washing machine (isn’t)- but the host was very generous in offering to compensate for this - for that we thank him.

Sehr gemütliche, schön gestaltete und ruhige Altbau Wohnung, die im Zentrum von Gent liegt. Mit einem kleinen Balkon zur Leie hin!

We loved our apartment in Ghent. The location on the canal close to the old centre was wonderful and the apartment had so much space after other places we had been. The little deck and kitchen allowed us to eat in for breakfast and some nights and just watch the life on the canal. The kitchen provided a coffee and some basic supplies which we appreciated. All questions we had were promply resonded to. It is also close to the tram line with access to the station which makes it a fabulous base in Belgium for day trips to Brussels, Bruges and Ypres. Also a lift was much appreciated.

It did advertise a washing machine which it no longer has and it doesn't have air-conditioning but the through breeze in the flat is fine to cool it down on a hot day.
