About this house rental
Large, newly furnished 1898 historic renovated modern retreat with an iron fence!

- In the heart of Omaha, 3 miles from downtown
- Games, video game console, multiple huge TVs, with 8 beds + 1 crib
With a reverence for hospitality, comfort, and a touch of luxury, you'll feel both at ease and entertained by the location's amenities!
2 min walk to the Cottonwood hotel and Blackstone District. Walk to UNMC, parks, coffe, bars, restaurants, a game cafe, and Midtown Crossing shopping, park and restaurants.
Sit on the patio for dinner and conversation while watching the world. A playground is tucked into the back with a fire pit, grill, multi-car garage and driveway.
1 living room with ample seating, with a A second family/living room has pocket doors and a 70in smart TV for added privacy, noise-control and customization. The dining room is next to the large front entrance. The kitchen, mud room, and laundry room are located in the back of the house.
On the second floor, there are 4 bedrooms.
The 1st bedroom has is a queen bed with ample windows, a full bath attached, and an office space attached with views of the award winning Cottonwood Hotel.
The 2nd bedroom is for the young at heart and is outfitted with the game room. It includes a 125yr old exposed brick wall, full sized futon, twin bed, a music keyboard, TV and game console, foosball table and board games.
The 3rd quaint bedroom has some of the best natural light. It includes a twin bed, desk, and has an attached bathroom. There's also a moveable crib. It's perfect for a child or a single person wanting some quiet.
The 4th queen bedroom has luxe furniture, work space, closet, and another full bath attached.
The third floor is an entire penthouse open floor plan for a master suite. It includes double vanity sinks, a rain shower, and a breakfast reading nook. A bonus room includes a walk in closet with two twin beds for overflow.
FYI - Outside, there is a separate professional unit above the detached garage with its own staircase. They park on the far left of the garage.
Enjoy indoor or outdoor nightly meals and conversation! Landscaping and snow removal is all handled! Around the side yard is a playground, multi-stall garage (2 garage spaces are available with the unit for a combined $75 fee), playhouse/shed, and 3-lane driveway.

Our family had a lovely stay in historic Big Blue! It was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep for everyone. Location was a plus as there are a variety of restaurants and bars in the area that are in walking distance. We are looking forward to staying in Big Blue on our next trip to Omaha!
