overall, a cosy little retreat. the Manager very helpful, friendly, and acted on any problems quickly.If you have a car, its a little tricky with the parking situation, no permit, so its necessary to park at nearest car park, Swannery, which is,at least free overnight. Very close to town, so handy. No views, but cosy as I said. Kitchen well equipped. Bathroom and toilet modernised.

Nicely decorated little place with helpful communication throughout. Surrounding area near the train station did feel a bit unsafe, clearly some undesirables on drugs live around here and I did worry going through the alleys to access flat 5 with my children late at night after the beach fireworks one evening.

My husband's complaint was that he could hear the occupants above whenever they were there. This included footsteps , a crying baby, a toddler running up and down, noisy plumbing and even the sound of urination in the toilet upstairs.

Lovely host, well presented and loved the fact it had a bbq. Travel cot provided which helped good communication with host.

We enjoyed staying in, the property is closed to the rail station. Probably 10 min walk from the property to the beach.
