Seasons
Winter—located right next to the slopes in the Hochrindl nature paradise, you can plunge into the glittering sea of snow, go downhill skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, take walks, or play curling. Spend cozy hours by the open fireplace, work up a sweat in the outdoor sauna with a fantastic view, take a daring dip to cool off in the winter wonderland, experience unlimited freedom, feel a sense of lightness, and breathe in the fresh air.
Spring—barbecue in the garden as the vegetation begins to sprout, enjoy the sauna with unforgettable views of the soft green moss, take a leisurely walk through the alpine pastures of the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve, witness the magnificent gentian and alpine crocus blooms right outside our house, breathe in the scent of the Swiss stone pine and larch forests, and watch hares, squirrels, and fawns at the foot of the Kruken.
Summer—linger in your many favorite spots among orchids, meadow knotweed, and cotton grass; enjoy the tranquility by a natural pond or babbling brook; slowing down amidst gurgling springs, gnarled trees, and sparkling blue mountain lakes; enjoying a private sauna; watching cows and horses graze in the rolling alpine pastures; escaping the sweltering heat of the cities; and savoring cool nights for restful sleep. 
Fall—stay active amid the forests’ riot of colors, hike above the fog line between 800 and 2,441 meters above sea level, experience breathtaking panoramic views across all of Carinthia, forage for mushrooms, wild berries, and milk thistles, listen to the babbling brook in the garden, feel the gentle breeze, breathe in the fresh air, enjoy unforgettable sunsets in the outdoor sauna, and watch the deer rut from the terrace.

Cooking here is a shared experience, not an obligation. The very well-equipped solid-wood kitchen invites you to experiment, share ideas, and experience the art of cooking. Our private chef can fulfill your culinary wishes right here in our home. Watch, learn, and enjoy—all without leaving the house.
Basement 80 m²
We’ve given our creativity free rein in this area; sleep away from the others. Rooms: Entryway, restroom, shower, relaxation area, and storage room—unusual combinations harmonize old and new
Sauna area 25 m²
The outdoor sauna—sensory delights with a view. The natural spectacle reveals itself anew with every hour and season. For the truly adventurous, our mountain water pond is the perfect place to cool off.

The terrace, the magnificent garden, and the unobstructed view—these are favorite spots for daydreaming. Nestled in the rolling Nockberge Mountains, you’ll experience nature’s most beautiful music. The gentle lapping of the water and the stillness of the pond will fill you with a sense of contentment.
Certified drinking water from our own spring
We’re fortunate to still be able to offer our guests our own drinking water. Enjoy our excellent-quality tap water—it’s fresh, tastes great, and is enriched with minerals (magnesium, calcium, potassium, hydrogen carbonate, manganese, sodium). You can leave those bottled waters from the supermarket in your luggage. You won’t have to lug them around, and you’ll save space.
