Enjoy soaking in the hot tub on the expansive deck and enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and New River Valley. Enjoy trains chugging along the ridge below the property, view wildlife from the deck like bald eagles and herons, and watch for shooting stars from your private spa. A short walk down Big Falls rd. provides public access to the New River for swimming, tubing, fishing and kayaking. New River Junction campground and tubing rentals is just a short 1.5 miles down the road for river floating fun!

The trains passing by and lasting over 10 minutes at a time is not my idea of relaxing. Place was too rustic for my taste. There is no shower in the master bedroom but the outside shower saved the day and it is great. The foam bed was not ideal for my backache. It would be a good idea to have instruction for the thermostat. It is not the most common type.
