Walker Creek Crossing offers all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable as well as the enduring charm of a country retreat. The spacious kitchen and dining room overlook the water and are designed for sharing meals with friends and family. Downstairs, the game room is a favorite gathering place. Walker Creek Crossing is a short drive from the Appalachian Trail, Cascade Falls, birding trails, and some prime spots for canoeing and kayaking. This house is very family friendly. The stairs are tucked in so that our 1yo basically forgot about them :-) The deck is great, and very sunny - you might need a little shade, but the view and creek are great. We enjoyed our stay, the hosts were very responsive, we hated to leave!

The cabin was nice and very roomy! Mary keeps it stocked with plenty of supplies and options to keep you entertained.

House has beautiful decorations but unfortunately common house items that either need replacing or fixed.Kitchen chair was broken,along with the bed broke on the first floor on my 3rd night. We had a issue with locking the bottom lock and got locked out.I had to go up the stairs which were very hard for myself to unlock the front door. This was resolved but i had to call the owner who gave us a quick response.I didnt realize their was a old bridge that was right outside the deck which was a eye sore.The fire pit was awesome and Tyler the (neighbors dog) gave us a visit which we enjoyed.It was easy access for the front door.We enjoyed the porch swing and it was a really nice house.I dont think i would rent again due to we are older and we would have loved to fish but to steep.I do think this house could be perfect for a family who isnt disabled like mine.Finally like i said we really enjoyed Tyler and the fire.
