Great location - only steps from the beach. We could see the waves from the comfort of the couch as well, so even on the day that it rained and was a bit chilly, we were still able to enjoy the ocean. The house had lots of puzzles and games which came in handy on the rainy day.We loved that it was fairly secluded - though there are other houses around, there is a lot of space between everything.One of the selling the points for us was the fact that it was dog-friendly and had a big fenced-in yard. Unfortunately, the yard was full of stickers - so be aware if you bring a pup! There is a path that leads from the house to the beach, which was fairly sticker-free - and our dog learned pretty quickly to stay on it.Overall a great house and would stay again.

We absolutely love staying at the Camelot In Caplen on the Bolivar Peninsula in Texas. The location is the best all around because it is so close to the water and you aren't surrounded by neighbors. It is very private. The beach in front isn't crowded. The house has great views from the windows too. You can sit on the back balcony and see the ocean and sit on the front balcony and see the intercoastal waterway. The house is clean and designed with an open concept. Plenty of room for my husband and I along with our family who came to stay with us one of the weekends we were there. We stayed almost three weeks and still weren't ready to leave. Cobb Real Estate is the absolute best to work with. They go above and beyond. Airbnb and VRBO don't give you a beach bag and the best lip balm ever. We have stayed here several years and never once have we had any problems. The truth is I really don't want to review this property because it is a hidden gen and I am afraid to get the word out in fear of not being able to find it available when we want it. LOL But I promise you will love Cobb Real Estate and the Camelot.
