Appartamento - Paolo Mascagni-Centro Storico

Appartamento piccolo ma ben attrezzato, con tutto il necessario per un soggiorno nella magnifica Siena. Adatto per una o al massimo due persone che non abbiano problemi a fare un po' di scalini (elemento che è corretto comunque sottolineare e ben evidenziato già dall'host). Ristrutturazione molto gradevole, bella vista sulla campagna senese e tranquillità, in quanto fuori dai circuiti di maggior confusione. Nello stesso tempo vicinissimo al centro città, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, e vicino anche ad alcuni parcheggi per l'auto. L'host è stato puntuale e chiarissimo nelle spiegazioni per check-in e check-out, molto facili da fare in autonomia. Forse l'unica pecca che impedisce di dare un 10 pieno è la leggera rumorosità del condizionatore. Per il resto è un punto di appoggio a Siena veramente ottimale sia per i giorni del Palio sia per qualsiasi altro giorno dell'anno... perché Siena è bella sempre!! Torneremo sicuramente 😁

Appartamento perfetto, curato in ogni dettaglio. Bellissima vista dalla finestra. Comodissimo al Duomo e a Piazza del Campo Silenziosissimo, fantastico per riposare in qualunque orario.

Nulla. Era tutto perfetto, dalla pulizia, alla lenzuola, dal bagno, alle cialde per il caffè......meglio di così, non si può.

This is a great place to stay while in Siena! From reviews we knew about the stairs so it was no problem. The apartment is located on the very top floor of the building and has a few flights of narrow stair hallways leading to it, so if you have a huge suitcase, it might be a problem as there's no elevator in the building. On your way up though there's an open balcony with a magnificent view of the courtyards in the front, a huge Italian stone pine and endless hills on the horizon, a view that is also visible from the apartment window (you can not see it directly from the bed or a dining table, in case you expect it) The place was easy to locate, the host provided us with all the information needed to find the keys hidden. The apartment itself was very clean, cozy and smelled nice. We were impressed how such a small place was so well adapted to guests' needs. The location is almost at the old town gates so it is a very quiet and peaceful street which we appreciated very much! There were even two water bottle to greet us (perfect after our journey) and little leaflets with recommendations, museums and El Palio information that we made sure to read.

We are very light sleepers, so if you are one too, keep in mind that the AC unit is pretty loud even in sleep mode. And the apartment gets pretty hot during summer heats as it is directly under the roof. The refrigerator is also a bit loud, but it didn't bother us once we did fall asleep. On our first night there was also a very loud noise from something outside the apartment, like a fridge, water pump or an AC that would make a low buzz sound as if it was pumping something, stop and then start again. We still don't know what that was. We've never heard it during the day or the next night. As it is most likely coming from a neighbour, we don't think hosts can influence that. Which is a shame as the place is otherwise great!

The apartment is well-equipped and tastefully decorated, very clean and well located, both quiet and close to historic sites and good restaurants. Good communication with Giulio.
