Spyros Rooms

L’emplacement au bord d’une magnifique plage, l’accueil d’Eleni pour la chambre et de de son mari au restaurant, le parking privé, la gratuité des transats et parasols sur la plage pour les clients de Spyros Rooms. Le bruit des vagues sur le balcon face a la mer.

Chambre simple et équipements un peu décevants. Pas de produits de toilette. Pas de prises vers les lits. Pas de second oreiller. Une literie un peu dure. Le prix de la nuit à € 120.- sans petit-déjeuner nous a semblé trop élevé par rapport aux précédents logements occupés dans la partie ouest de Corfou, qui étaient plus modernes et mieux équipés pour le même prix, avec une cuisine en prime. Le lieu de situation au bord de l’eau ne justifie pas complètement le prix payé. Mais nous avons tout de même eu un bon séjour de trois nuits à cet endroit magnifique.

The owner Mrs Eleni waited for us to arrive even we got there late due to delayed flight arrival and handed over the keys of the room. The owners are very polite and will do everything possible to satisfy the customers. Our room was basic but very clean and had all you need for a short beach holiday. We stayed 4 nights. The location has fantastic scenery on one of the beautiful beaches with many beach bars/restaurants but they close early at night (about 21.00hrs) except one at the edge of the beach which stays open later. You need a car to go to the the village Pelekas which is at the top of the hill accessible through a very steep dark and narrow road. At the village there are many tavernas and bars that stay open later.

Need a car to move around as the beach tavernas close early at night and the village is not far BUT on a very steep hill that takes 35 mins very hard walk to get to.

Nice beach and bed available on beach at all times. Handy taverna in front of beach- that served nice food and drinks- belonged to family that owns apartments. The walk up to the village steep- so maybe not in the heat of the day. Beach bar next door with ATM that I used with no problem- good cocktails. Owners friendly and approachable and happy to assist with anything needed. Quiet area and not ruined by mass tourism.

Room was small and bathroom very dated but everything worked. Unfortunately there wasn’t really any option to eat locally, apart from in the great Taverna at the rooms which closed early unless you have a car and are happy to brave the very steep and windy road down to the beach
