Luxury Vineyard Cabin Escape

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!) Our stay at Black Shed Retreat was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, it felt so comfortable, cosy and homely. You can tell that Monica and David have put so much thought into every single detail – nothing has been overlooked. The cabin was immaculate, exceptionally clean, and still felt brand new. The amenities were fantastic, there was plenty of storage throughout, and everything was clearly labelled, making it so easy to settle in and feel at home. The views were beautiful, and the peaceful, quiet surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind and relax. The directions to the property were simple to follow, and the communication from Monica and David before and during our stay was outstanding. They made everything effortless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and will definitely be back. Thank you for creating such a special place – we can’t recommend Black Shed Retreat highly enough!

Cute and cosy. Good location. Well decorated. Bath salts and oils were a cute touch. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the bath due to the weather.

Bed was too firm and uncomfortable. Didn’t have inclusions that a similar place in McLaren vale has. The wind coming through the fireplace on one of the nights was incredibly loud. Made it very difficult to sleep. I understand this isn’t a fault of the owners however it was just frustrating. Also couldn’t get much of a fire going inside as the wood was damp.

Other similar accommodation we stayed at in S.A were more personal & provided nice personal touches. I think it’s a bit pricey for what you get.
