Great location and easy access to local attractions. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit The Lakes. Host of the property was very friendly and supportive all through my stay.
More attractions nearby for children would have been appreciated.

The property was easy to keep warm with the central heating, and the log fire also added ambience. The rooms were of a good size and the parking was extremely accessible.
We found some cleaning cloths in the hall cupboard but a small welcome pack would have been useful. We bought washing up liquid as there was none at the property. We eventually found the leaflets for all the appliances but a short, easy to use instruction booklet would have been really useful along with some information on waste collection/recycling. A brief paragraph on where to find the local shops/garage/pub would have been welcome. The property could also benefit from some lighting by the dining table.

We really enjoyed our stay at Two Acres. It was quiet, easy to locate & close to Sizergh Castle, Kendal & the Haverthwaite Steam Railway. The bungalow was lovely & clean & the shower was amazing! Our little girl really enjoyed exploring the garden too. Stuart, the host was really friendly & helpful & gave us suggestions of things to do & places to visit during our time there, which was so helpful.
The sofa wasn't particularly comfortable, but it didn't detract from our stay.
