The outside of the apartment building was very dirty with rubbish everywhere and it resembled old Cairo. The address of the apartment on booking.com was confusing. When we put the location in Indrive the taxi’s would take us to the wrong location and had difficulty finding us and on return we had to drive around looking for the apartment. The stairwells were dirty and some floors had old furniture, tiles and rubbish outside apartments. The aircon did not works as heating and the apartment was freezing. The bathrooms were not clean. Only one tv worked. Inadequate towels. No toilet paper. The main bathroom had the wifi cable running behind the door so we had to open the door carefully and then step over the cable. There was also a very bad sewage smell in the main bathroom, as if the drains were blocked. There were inadequate pots and pans for cooking basic foods. I booked and paid for the apartment, but the management gave us only one key fob which was NOT to me, and if we were not with the person with the fob, we were constantly locked out or had to stay in. As a positive the management did give us a complimentary clean. I was the client as I booked and paid for the apartment but the management chose to deal with the Egyptian member of our party and all communication was with him. I had little or no communication with them. I understand that they were very helpful to our Egyptian party member.

It was perfect for my purpose and I did not expect to be as described.

The service, cleanliness and the Location. It was close to all areas.
