Updated,spacious, maritime 3BR downtown cottage

Todo muy limpio , acogedor , realmente me sorprendió . Al momento de reservar no estuve muy segura pero al llegar aquí no me equivoqué . Súper felices de mi estadía aquí.

Clean and comfortable and not a good location 15 walk but the best part is no traffic I could walk there or drive

The half bathroom would of been better with two full bathroom

Adorable house, very spacious with everything we needed.

About a mile walk to town, but we did like walking through the beautiful neighborhoods.

Communication with the owner was superb. We had a couple of issues and he responded immediately. The location to trolley stops was also a plus.

This is an old house that has been renovated, & although the renovations were adequate (especially the kitchen), it's still an old house & it shows with uneven floors (tripping hazard in kitchen near frig because the tiles pop up), pocket doors that don't operate correctly (likely due to the uneven floors & walls). The living room furniture could use a deep clean - food was in several of the button holes of the furniture & there was an odor in the living room). Additionally, we noticed black growth at the HVAC vents and both of us developed some significant congestion, which cleared up a couple days after leaving. Owner should invest in mattress covers, higher quality sheets, and bleach for towels and dish cloths (all were very dingy). The lack of mattress covers is really significant for me - it's just a standard hygiene necessity for rentals. The second bath is a half bath so this house would have been totally unacceptable for 10 people as there was only one shower. One bedroom has bunkbeds that are full and queen, but I can't imagine who would use that other than children. The outlets in both bathrooms quit working and we had to flip a breaker switch twice while there - the panel box is behind the very heavy bunkbeds which we had to move - not a convenient place! The owner should clearly have the electrical situation looked at as it became clear to us that overuse of a hairdryer was not the issue (I didn't use the hairdryer). Overall, very disappointing house rental.
