The Loft at The Old Dog Thorpe

The location was excellent and very scenic. The apartment was very clean and had quality fittings. It was a lovely touch to have the dog basket with towel and treats. A very idyllic place.

The induction job was a bit temperamental to use but, apart from that, everything was great!

Great location and good facilities.

Can’t get the induction hob to work and took us 2 days to get the tv working. No instructions for the tv. Followed the instructions for the hob but it still didn’t work. Apartment could have been cleaner - especially the bathroom which had a dirty floor and a bath mat smelling of dog, which hadn’t been changed. Was also no shower gel in the shower. We have stayed here on numerous occasions but, with each visit, it seems to be deteriorating just that little bit more each time.

Great location, very relaxed and welcoming.

If I had to find something, it would be the shower. After a long cold walk and looking forward to a shower it was disappointing being hot and cold and not lasting a few seconds.

no hot water on sinks in bathroom and kitchen told to boil kettle .microwave had not been. Cleaned glass and inside very dirty. The stair case is dark and uninviting hand rail not very handy at all. Returned home after one night Had we have known there was no hot water available only from shower we would not have booked The owners are very nice people and were as helpful as they could be very disappoinng break
