Ocean Golf Rubi Villa by Nagisa Bali

Spent 16 nights… Great family place, spacious for a family of five, the bedrooms are very private and the mattress super comfortable, the private pool is perfect for these days you want to stay at home… the two housekeeping ladies Kadek and Wayan are exceptional, cook great breakfast and fix anything you might need around the house, from laundry service to general information, fantastic! The office manager Mr Mulli fixed a couple of things that needed to be addressed so all in all it was good…

We had an excellent stay overall. The villa itself was beautiful, the staff was attentive and friendly throughout, and the daily cooked breakfast was a real highlight — fresh and delicious every morning. The location isn't the villa's strongest point — while it's close to some amenities, you really need a taxi or bike to get around. That worked well for us, though, since we spent most of our time with friends staying nearby, so it wasn't an issue.

A couple of things to flag for future guests: there were access street works outside for the whole duration of our stay, which meant most taxis couldn't pull into the driveway. Minor inconvenience, not a big deal. The bigger issue was that the street works ended up damaging the water supply pipe, leaving us without water for an entire night and into the next morning — not being able to shower or use the toilet properly wasn't great. On top of that, the house's water reservoirs clearly hadn't been cleaned or filled in advance, so when they were eventually topped up, brown, dirty water came out for hours. Fine for flushing, but definitely not something you'd want to shower in. To be fair, this felt like one unfortunate, unlucky event rather than a reflection of how the property is normally run, and it didn't take away from what was otherwise a lovely stay.

The villa is nice and kept clean. The location is not in a busy area but for us was still very convenient as its in a not at all traffic area, you still have 5 to 8min walk away couple good places to eat and in 15min you can be in Nusa Dua main resort area. Unfortunately, we had few issues that contributed to not a such positive review. The biggest issues for us was the non-acceptable behavior of Mr M one of the staff villa towards our child. Please if Mr M is in the villa dont leave him with your kids. Besides that we had issues with wifi not working on day 1, day 2 we could not use the pool due to unsafe chlorine level and few other minor topics. The villa management after few escalations was very supportive on resolving all issues and they apologized extensively and even compensated us with a free late check out at departure day, that's why I still rate this place as a 5 otherwise would have chosen a 1.

We had few issues that made our stay not as pleasant as it should have been, they are described on the other section
