The location is fantastic. Central in Ruthin. The house itself is huge, could easily sleep twenty, fantastic facilities, great games room. Just overall a fantastic property.
The car parking is crazy tight. Only one of the guests was brave enough to try and drive through it, the others used the local car park, which to be fair is cheap (£4 all day) and two minute walk.
Some of the facilities, bathrooms, could do with modernising but its an old house so I didn't expect much else and they were perfectly fine, so not really an issue.

This is the second time we have stayed as a family in this property. It is central in Ruthin so easy walking distance to a fantastic play park, Ruthin Goal and many takeaways. The house is spacious and has some retained period features such as the front door complete with tiny gaps. Quite charming and not a problem as the heating is working well throughout the house. The kitchen is fully equipped and the showers nice and warm. There’s plenty of space for many people to spend time in comfort with soft sofas and cosy blankets. The fact, that you can’t park at the property is no really a problem. We were able to off load the cars and park at the nearby park.
Some areas were not very clean such as the back of the electric cooker. There were old splashes of fat but we didn’t cook so it was just an observation.

A large and well equipped house. Be careful with parking, it is very tight. Got my Mokka in but other members of the group parked in a public car park, which was only a 2 minute walk away.
Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels provided.
Had a great time in a stunning area.
Not mentioned, but there is a dishwasher
Carpets need a deep clean
The house is a little tired and needs a bit of TLC
Pool cues were missing tips and unusable, so we didn't bother

The house is very tired. The kitchen could have been cleaner. Somebody might want to look down the side of the fridge
