Comfortable rooms in a historic building. A good base for exploring local history and outdoors.

Parking directly outside the building is well lit, but lanes close by are dark.

Despite the bedding issue I am hoping to stay there again.

Ideally placed in the centre of Ruthin. Very close to all amenities that you might wish for.

I stay in many self catering flats/houses/cottages. A common theme seems to be inadequate and inflexible bedding. The 10.5 tog duvets were insufficient for the cold weather, and there was no additional bedding readily available. There was only one tea towel in the kitchen and no hand towel.

Very cozy , alm you need for a great price .

As good or better than any hotel in Town or surrounding area

Couldn’t figure out the heating , on or off . Not happy with the early morning birds (Crows) loads of noise very early .

Building is central great location, interesting history old building. Comfortable everything you need for a short stay.

Minor note: Beds a little creaky, to be fair frame beds are creaky or can be, they were comfortable.

Superb accommodation & central location

Having stayed at many Wetherspoons around the country; we looked at staying at the one in the centre of Ruthin. However we saw an apartment at the Memorial Building and decided that it was worth paying a little bit more in order to have an apartment rather than a single room. What a great decision that was. From the very start the communication with the hosts was excellent, giving us tremendous information regarding the apartment, local amenities and general area. The apartment was superb in every detail, being very modern, spacious and well furnished. Every window gave breath taking views of the surrounding mountains; wonderful. It was a two minute walk via St Peter's Church into the centre of the town. You will not find better.

Very clean, everything we needed there. Clear directions given and easy to get key with key safe. Great location, nice views and plenty of space in apartment.

As warned limited parking. We were fourth car in and only possible to park by blocking in another car which fortunately we could do as other family members had booked another apartment.

It was dirty, with a verity of bugs crawling through stained sheets and toilet seat that didn’t work. Also did not sleep well as it’s way to hot and the windows don’t fully open. It’s a cute appartment just wish it was a bit cleaner

Lovely location in Ruthin and very easy process for check in. Lots of information given prior to arrival - food recommendations etc. Beds were super comfortable and exceptional fluffy towels.

Parking could have been tricky in a larger vehicle, but we were ok.

Good location for exploring North Wales on foot or by car, and huge TV if relaxing on the sofas is preferred; well-stocked kitchen (was able to bake & cook for visiting family staying/living nearby in Ruthin); very quiet (able to relax); self-check-in meant no pressure to arrive by a certain time; good-sized & well-lit rooms with large windows & privacy blinds; lots of parking options nearby; very helpful & pleasant owners & staff; and very clean rooms & shared areas.

The location of the property is excellent and has easy access. The car parking is limited but there was still room for 2 motorbikes. It is a 2 minute walk into Ruthin via the church yard which is a lovely town. The apartment was very spacious and was just what we expected having previously stayed in a different apartment last year. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and bedding and towels were also provided.

The apartment was Disgusting ! Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at. The smell as soon as you walk through the door was of damp. There was blood and marks on all the bed sheets. Cups were dirty, floor was dirty, sofa was covered in stains. Bathroom was dirty had poo marks in toilet, flush button was dirty. Spiders all over ceilings. We didn’t stay and got a refund. The hosts were very good when it came to getting a refund

Beautiful apartment, fantastic hosts, can’t wait to return.

Property was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need. Perfect location as just 1 minute, if that, into town by foot. Hosts were very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. Can’t wait to book again.

Loved the history of the building. Great location. Accommodation inside was very comfortable and met all our needs.

It felt very impersonal. Whilst it’s good to receive clear information all the instructions around the apartment were a bit over the top. Parking very tight and sometimes had to park elsewhere.

Good location and a very clean and nice apartment

Was easy to find with the directions we were given. The box was well located and easy to read so you knew exactly what box you needed to use and the code provided worked as it should.

Parking could be better and imagine if it's busy you might struggle to park outside the building. However, there is space just down the road and a public car park just a short walk away if you needed to use it.
