Shanghai Hills&Xing 38 Family Homestay Near Line1 and Mid Huaihai Rd

Great apartment in the heart of the French Concession, walking distance from a couple of popular hole-in-the-wall bao shops. The host Annika is super friendly and very prompt, with everything done virtually online. Clever little "duplex" (effectively two king/queen futon beds stacked on top of each other) makes good use of available floor plan.

Two flights of stairs to reach the appartyment and crockery/cutlery a bit limited in the kitchen if you want to do anything other than eat takeaway.

The host has made really good use of the space. The property is cosy and has everything you would need. The washing machine was useful. The bed was comfortable. The projector is a really good feature. Perfect location with multiple food shops, convenience stores and fresh fruit on your doorstep. Close to the Shanghai National museum. The neighbors were friendly and helpful as my Chinese is not good. The host was fantastic and responded promptly with any questions I had. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and will be back in the future. 🌱

Nice location in a lively neighborhood. Easily accessible.

The flat did not match the usual standards of cleanliness for regular rental accommodation. Too many useless decoration items that catch the dust.
