Good location with nice view

Facilities are all really poor, bathroom got mould under the basin, all the beds are really poor conditions, mattresses are really soft, poor condition, very uncomfortable.

Company doesn’t pick up phone calls or reply to messages

Good size and views

Had a window in the shower looking into the hallway of the air bnb, also the company doesn’t reply or pick up their phone calls so wouldn’t recommend. Sofa bed was broken so couldn’t sleep there. The wifi stopped working after a few hours.

One to avoid

Location was ok, could be a nice apartment if managed properly and certain improvements made.

It was dirty, the windows and mirrors were all cloudy, dirt & rubbish under the couch, rug & beds. ( You need new cleaners). The apartment was very hot and had no cooling so you had to keep the windows open and put up with emergency vehicle sirens every 10 minutes all night long ( it was loud). Apartment was advertised with netflix which wasn't available, the WiFi was rubbish and that couch is the most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat on ( it was a sofa bed too). The sofa bed had no sheets provided (made do with a duvet cover). The bed was 2 very soft foam mattresses very close to the ground and the bed even collapsed when my wife sat in it (slats had all fallen out). The bathroom had a glass wall in the hallway which was see through, made it very awkward at shower time especially having teenagers. Was advised 2 hours before check in that the lift was out or order for a week (5th floor apartment) and washing machine was broken ( they offered to move us to another property and do our laundry for us but that didn't work for us and no discount was offered or given). Yes we could have brought this to the hosts attention during our stay to have the issues resolved but there simply shouldn't be any issues to begin with. If you rent out a holiday unit, it should be of an acceptable standard, this was not.

Crooks!

The location was the reason we chose it as close to where family function was happening.

The host is awful. Terrible communication. Getting as much money from you as possible is their motive. Very unreasonable, terrible customer service. Cannot problem solve. The apartment looks nice on the surface, there was no hot water or heating for a 2 night stay as boiler broken and appears to breakdown often. No compensation or compassion. Once you’ve paid on booking.Com which is more expensive than directly with them you become bound to a set of rules not advertised and cannot make any changes without losing your money or having to pay extortionate extra fees. One room smelt like an ash tray the other was like a freezer. The beds were awful you may as well put a sleeping bag on the floor. The cleaner came before check out time and the host uses the booking messages to present themselves one way and doesn’t respond to issues on the messaging system but will send direct messages to you. Had to call so many times and they would only answer if booking.Com called them. Booking.Com were no help during this reservation either. Wouldn’t recommend this host/company to anyone. There are other places in the same location I should have chose had I known how awful and stressful it was going to be and I was pregnant! Not worth the stress. We couldn’t believe the treatment received and £80 being taken from our deposit when we had already explained before arriving we wouldn’t be paying this and were happy to have the reservation cancelled and go elsewhere. Crooks!
