The Stonegate lodge was wonderful! Very nice rustic touches to the room! Very clean room. Comfortable beds and bedding.
Maybe a reminder in the room to notify the owner via text with any questions. And also that there are extra necessities in the common lounge.

Oatmeal was good. Coffee as well
I had to text to find out why outdoor fireplace wasn’t lit. Glad I did and problem was fixed right away.

The entire property was very clean and quite. The room was very homey.

The location was good
Our room was not clean. The floor was visibly dirty when we arrived. The bathroom wall was dirty. There are so many decorations in the room that it would be almost impossible to clean and dust them regularly.
To be fair, we arrived at the property and found that there is no elevator and our room was supposed to be on the second floor. They were kind enough to switch us to the first floor so maybe this room was not fully cleaned.
The floor was mopped after we contacted the booking agent.
