Everything was wonderful, the property the location everything was great and we really enjoyed our room!
The bed was honestly pretty hard and uncomfortable that is the only downfall but everything was really great and clean.

Comfortable bed, good space in the bathroom. Close to downtown. Staff was nice & helpful.
Be aware this is an older motel just like the Eureka Springs. Very comfortable. Would be nice to have two small chairs to watch tv or read wo sitting on the bed.

It was nice when we wnt last time
the young gentleman at the reception refused to provide the room for my family today despite a confirmed booking. In fact, I was turned away in a rude and racist way. His reason was that I had called him earlier to double-check the cancellation policy, and he took that as a request to actually cancel.
However, when I called at 11:24 (in my family’s presence), I said we really liked their lovely place last time and booked to return again tonight, but we were having some issues and wanted to see if they are able to approve any refund in case of a cancellation. He said no, and we continued our ride inbound all day long. I did not state that I was actually cancelling, and kept our booking active at booking.com, but it seems he jumped to conclusions and did cancel.
Even though they still had the room when we arrived with my family and I explained what happened, he did not agree about what was said and asked me to leave. When I asked what we can do to fix this and if this is what he really wants to do on Thanksgiving weekend with us and our little kids, he said he is actually Native American and sent me to “go and steal someone else’s land.” With that, he basically kicked me out, told me to go to Best Western, and locked the door.
When my wife wanted to see if we can resolve this, they never opened the door for her and kept her locked outside on the street in the cold for 15 minutes with our 10-month-old baby, even shutting the lights.
Were forced to book and stay somewhere else. As a frequent traveler, this is the lowest overall conduct in all aspects I have ever seen in the last 20 years. It is hard to even believe a business allows this kind of behavior. That person with all his indicated personal issues should not be in the hotel industry or even near customers.

There was no breakfast to like.
Location was great for Halloween goers and the houses on that street did it up right!
Love the wood inside, beds were comfortable
Small, no where to set suitcases.
Couldn't find a way to start coffee pot, but it was not clean anyway...no coffee at office, no one there.

Not much! Just being honest. Perhaps some credit for an attractive Moose / Bear bed spread on a lumpy mattress. The front desk gentleman did scrounge up a wine bottle opener so cudos to him.
Rooms lacks basic features associated with a hotel/cabin rooms. No bed stand lights thus requiring a bright ceiling light to be on at most times. The shower enclosure an antique, though not in a charming way, with outdoor water spigot turn knobs. Just one hook to hang anything along with no towel bars. Only one place in both bedrooms to place a suitcase off the floor. Thanks for the 3 crappy clothes hangers. The windows were filthy and the window coverings a step above rags.

Hard to find and get to at first.
Bed seemed comfortable, but sort of peaked in the middle.

We appreciated that the cabin was detached from others, lending itself to a quiet stay. We also appreciated a working/latching door between the two rooms to help with different sleeping conditions.
The room was not super clean. There were hairs on the walls of the shower, some type of stain on one of the mattresses, and something spilled down the door that separated the two rooms. The floor in the bathroom was also quishy, as if there was water damage below.

My first impression was the clerk at the desk at check in. He was ready for me as soon as I walked in, very polite, and quick. I always appreciate a seamless check in, especially after driving all day so I was pleased with the experience.
I usually choose 4 star hotels but I’ve come to realize the only things I really care about when I stay in a hotel are cleanliness, comfort, and air conditioning. The air was COLD, the beds were comfortable, the TVs are from this decade, and the rooms were cleaned well. Bonus points for how quiet it was. I slept like a baby without breaking the bank.
The property is located within walking distance of downtown (though with the climb back up that hill, I recommend driving or taking the trolley), near a few convenience stores, and a grocery store.
The area is quiet enough to enjoy sitting outside or with your room door open. The fire pit, grill, gazebo, and water fall are nice touches that allow guests to spend the evening winding down outside without having to fold up a tent at the end of the trip. I would love to stay during the fall when it’s cool enough to enjoy sitting outside by a fire.
There is a ton of parking in the back, which is also where the ice and vending machines are located. Everything is easily accessible without any fuss.
If you’re looking for peace and quiet in a central location, rustic charm, cold air conditioning, and a clean room at a surprisingly affordable price, this is a great option.
I’d have to nitpick to come up with something I really didn’t like.

A bigger room and the location of where everything on the property was to the room.

Ease of check in, room size.
I was bitten by bugs in the bed, complained and left the property at 11:00 PM. The owner offered a refund (without me asking for it) and then called me later as I was driving home to say someone in my party left a bad review (it was actually someone I didn’t know) so he cancelled the refund and was charging for a key (which I did take in haste to get away from the situation).

We did not have breakfast there? Maybe it was provided in the office where you check in? Very pleased with the place concerning location, parking and privacy. The wall unit located in both bedrooms was amazing and would be more so in the heat of the summer.
I do enjoy the look of the rooms as they are not cluttered with wall ornaments or unnecessary furniture. One suggestion would be to add a few hooks on the wall by the front door and in bathroom for coats, bags, etc.

So convenient and a great location for our events.
Very comfortable mattress.
Off road parking, and wonderful staff.
Rooms are very small, bed is standard size, and the room could use deeper cleaning.

Charming vintage motor lodge located on a trolley stop. Lovely staff. Easy to find.
Shower could use a little more cleaning attention. One AC would not work in front room.
