Maria is a wonderful host, ready to respond very promptly to all questions and accomodate your needs. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos, has everything you need, and is in a great location for exploring all the sights of Palermo on foot. It is also very well connected to all modes of transportation, which is convinient if you are not renting a car but still want to explore more of Sicily.
The only downside of that part of the city is the high level of noise at night, but that is typical for old city center.
