This place was just a 10 minute walk (or less) from the metro. Get a daily Hello Bike card for 3.99 CNY and ride between metro stations and hostel as well as other places in town. Good inexpensive food within a 1 block radius. Friendly and helpful staff and inexpensive laundry (wash and dry for 10 CNY). Free delicious sweet tea in the common area. I had a room and it was spacious.

The mattress was a bit thin for me but seems the standard in mainland China - still comfortable enough to sleep on. My only recommendation would be to get a bigger (or second) refrigerator. There is a lot of people all sharing one small fridge and it was completely packed.

Staff I had a late check in at the hostel at 10pm and the reception was 24 hours. The staff have been extremely helpful. I had initially booked a pod in the female shared room, however as there were other single female rooms available, I was upgraded to be given one, which was a bonus. The facilities were great - At the common shared areas there were water filters, microwave and fridge, and there were plenty of shower areas and toilet rooms. Overall the value was worth it given the low price of the booking. Location was great as it was only 7 mins walk from the nearest railway station, however the exact location of the hostel was a bit shady and seemed to be situated in a notorious area.

The cleanliness of the shower areas were a bit concerning, as during my stay everyday the shower areas were clogged as I don't think they were cleaned daily. The fridge was literally stuffed with raw meat and food from other guests which were a bit unhygenic as well.

Staff were friendly, it was clean, was close to metro.

Beds are a joke, literally like sleeping on the floor, think it’s disrespectful to even call that a mattress.
