This was our second stay at Dene Croft cottage and it was definitely worth the return visit. It is a high quality place to stay, very comfortable and somewhere we very much felt at home. Allendale has good village shops, pubs and cafes so we didn't feel the need to stray very far. There are some lovely walks from the cottage over the hills and along the East Allen river. There was good communication with Jeremy, the owner.

It was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxing atmosphere. The location was great, and the little touches throughout it made it feel homely and welcoming.
