When you travel to destinations the following three are the most important according to me. Especially I travelled with my family of Four. Namely First: Nice location along with good mountain view from the balcony and I got it Second: Food & Good Local Knowledgeable, Well behaved, Identifiying good food restaurants as per needs. I got all this from SRI AYYAPPAN TRAVELS, MR.BINU CONTACT 9488149474. He was referred by the hotel before my arrival and he sent me the itinerary including pickup from Coimbatore, Athirapally Falls, Hotel Wintel, local sight seeing at Valparai, Drop back at Coimbatore. He was simply good and drove the vehicle smoothly and was very supportive of taking us to tourist spots and picked up good restaurants to eat on the way based on our needs Veg or Non Veg. Third: Safety. The hotel as well as the travels with Car were very safe and reasonable price and understanding our needs. The Location of the hotel is at the far end of the road but if you can walk or have a vehicle you can travel to the main road to eat if you would like to try other restaurants. The location is at the far end of the room and that is why it has got a direct view from deluxe room of the tea estate and the nature which is very good if you would like to spend some good amount of time from the Balcony after your return to your home. The restaurant is at the 5th floor (do not need to worry since lift is available and functional) The view from the restaurant is fantastic The rooms are equipped with geysers so you have hot water whenever you want it and there was not much power cut when I stayed there.

Wintel Wild Valparai is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind in the lap of nature. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered beautiful views, while the peaceful atmosphere made the stay truly refreshing. The staff were warm, attentive, and ensured everything was taken care of, making us feel right at home. If you're visiting Valparai, this is a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing and memorable experience.

Parking. It is cramped

It’s one of the higher end hotels in Valparai. Has good interior design and the room is spacious. Try taking a room with a balcony to get a better experience here.

Location is atop a hill so it’s a bit outside the main area. You have to walk uphill a lot so if you’re someone with knee issues, it might become a problem. Also, their cafe is not open all day and dinner / tea is served very late. Laundry took 2.5 days to be delivered back to me and they won’t wash your underwear so keep that in mind. I didn’t try the food so can’t comment on the quality of it. TVs in the room are not smart TVs and only show local content. So if you’re stuck indoors because of bad weather you’re kinda porked. WiFi is also unreliable.
