One such escape, a place for intimate togetherness that offers a view of the stars at night and the sunrise over Lake Millstatt in the morning, is the “Biwak unter den Sternen. Rifugio sotto le stelle.”

On the beach, where the waves of Lake Millstatt lap the shore, the Biwak invites you to experience the closeness to your partner and to nature even more intensely. Up close to nature’s spectacle: Through the spacious panoramic windows, you can gaze at the stars in the evening and the sunrise in the morning.

Crafted from local wood, the bivouac offers space for a bed, a table with chairs and cozy lambskin, as well as a separately accessible bathroom. You can store your mobile devices, keys, and calendar in a small compartment so you can enjoy your time together completely undisturbed.

TIP: Enjoy a private breakfast on the veranda of the “Sonnenutnergang” bivouac near the water. Your hosts will serve you the breakfast basket for two at the bivouac upon request (surcharge of €25).
