About this house rental
Lake house with private beach on the property in the idyllic Laggerbucht on Millstättersee south shore. The property has several terraces, children's play equipment, barbecue, jetty, Finnish hottub and sauna on the lake, as well as pedal boat and 2 SUPs. In the main house is a double bed in the large bedroom on the top floor and a single bed (200x120) in a small bunk next door. The living room couch can be folded out to a double bed. Further 2 units with separate entrance: Apartment with bathroom and small kitchen and double bed (180x200) and pull-out sofa bed. In addition a small single room without bath and with single bed (200x120). In total, 6 persons can be accommodated in beds and 3 additional persons on folding sofas. The house is located directly on the Millstättersee cycle path for comfortable family cycling or as a feeder for more demanding mountain biking in the Nockberge region. The ship pier is also right next door and forms over the planned waterway connecting the resorts Döbriach, Millstatt and Seeboden. The center of the small settlement in the Laggerbucht forms of traditional inn and pension Laggerhof. If you (still) do not want to cook on vacation, you are always well looked after at Laggerhof. The Seehaus Weiss is ideal for a family holiday or a romantic holiday for two. Dogs welcome. The property comes only as a whole for rent.

Wonderful views of an amazing lake from this property, which has obviously been well-crafted and well-loved by the owners, who are friendly, accommodating, and professional.
It's hard to choose where to spend your time between the main floor, the upper deck, or the water-level veranda/dock, but you can't really go wrong.
Hiking and biking are just out the door, the Laggerhof is right up the hill for a meal or a drink, and the ferry stop next door will take you wherever you like (and back) among the many other stops around the lake.
Perhaps a bit remote, but that's part of the attraction, and worth the effort to get there. If the pictures caught your eye, go with your first impression, it will not disappoint.

The pictures do not lie - the location is great. Our family (two adults and three children) spent five days in April. The hosts Norbert & Lara were very nice and helpful and made good suggestions for daytrips. The house has its own jetty and two stand-up paddle boards which was great fun for all of us. The terrace overlooking the lake is sunny and has a spectacular view. Highly recommended.
