In our beautiful nature hotel, which we have lovingly furnished with natural materials from the region, you can relax, nestled between mountain and lake with panoramic views of the Carinthian mountains. We deliberately do without TVs and Wi-Fi in the rooms. The natural low-radiation rooms allow you to relax and ensure an unforgettable quality of sleep - or do you not have the desire to return to everyday life refreshed and strengthened?

In our kitchen we live the philosophy of Slow Food. We focus on fresh, unadulterated aromas and use herbs, vegetables and flowers from our garden, combined with regional specialties.
After our renovation phase, in which we redesigned all rooms and other areas in the hotel, we are looking forward to welcoming guests again. Are you looking for warm hospitality, a family atmosphere and a relaxed ambience with many small amenities? At the Naturhotel Alpenrose you will find a place to feel good, recharge your batteries and relax.
Above Lake Millstatt on a plateau, the Naturhotel Alpenrose welcomes its guests in a unique combination of peace and closeness to nature. Sustainability is not a modern buzzword for us, we have been living the principle for many years. Our new rooms are furnished with natural materials, natural clay ceilings provide homely warmth and pleasant coolness and a restful sleep. We do not use radiation sources in the rooms and a relaxed sleep without TV and Wi-Fi, but with an impressive panoramic view of the lake and the gentle Nockberge Mountains.
Culinarily, our guests can expect a rich breakfast with regional organic products, fresh smoothies, bread and egg dishes as well as a 4-course evening menu with fresh salads and herbs from our own garden. Our 3/4 guesthouse also includes a buffet with soup, salads and cakes at lunchtime.
Our nature SPA with various saunas, salt air room, relaxation area, heated outdoor swimming pool with thermal temperatures and panoramic sunbathing lawn in the garden is a retreat for body and soul. Our massage and cosmetics department has an extensive range of services. In addition, we are one of the few hotels to be able to offer exclusive treatments according to the famous Gertraud Gruber method and products. We are currently awarded 2 lilies by the Relax Guide.

As a certified bett+bike SPORT company, cyclists and their sports equipment are very welcome with us. Our bike box guarantees safe parking, we have tools and repair knowledge ready, and the bikes can be washed and maintained. Tips for tours are then given by the boss himself.
On selected dates, we also offer a wide variety of retreats with a focus on yoga, mindfulness and healthy living. You can see the dates and details on our website in the annual programme.
