Our approximately 40 m² studio apartment was designed with great care and a special focus on comfort, a sense of space, and maximum practicality.
The apartment itself is lovingly furnished and bathed in natural light thanks to the large windows facing the sunny side. The view of the garden, the greenery, and the mountains creates a very special, cozy atmosphere.

• additional sleeper sofa for extra guests/children
• option for a crib
• patio with seating
• lounge chairs and recliners

Our beautiful house is located at just under 1,000 meters above sea level with a stunning view of Lake Millstatt and the surrounding mountains. Nestled in the beautiful Carinthian mountains, our vacation apartments offer the perfect retreat.
The “Seeblick und Mehr” house is situated entirely on the outskirts of Jenseits von Matzelsdorf in an area with very little traffic, ensuring absolute peace and quiet.
Up here, all you’ll hear is the diverse chorus of birds. Beyond... yet beautiful towns and places are just a few minutes away if your heart yearns for the city, shopping trips, nightlife, or dining out.
That’s what makes beautiful Carinthia so special. Here, mountains, water, and nature abound.
Other countries like Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia are just a few hours away.
A day trip to the Mediterranean is definitely possible from here.
This stunning landscape is charming in every season and brings you closer to nature again.

Especially for city dwellers who live far removed from nature and its rhythms, it’s very restorative and uplifting to reconnect here with what’s essential and authentic.
What’s more, the people of Carinthia are a truly friendly, down-to-earth bunch, with open hearts toward strangers and new experiences.
Many of our guests love coming back to us time and again for exactly this reason.
Our three completely renovated and lovingly furnished one-room apartments are located in the annex next to our home; we share the main entrance.
Our house was originally the first guesthouse in town, so it has real charm.
• Our accommodations are self-catering, so your vacation experience is as independent as possible, without set schedules or obligations. Upon request, we can provide a bread roll service and also supply a small selection of basic groceries upon arrival. We’ve founded an association and established a partnership with local farmers. Through this partnership, we regularly stock up on regional, 100% organic, high-quality products. For larger shopping trips, there are various options, such as the town of Radenthein, which is just a few minutes’ drive away. As part of our sustainability project, you can pick up rescued food there almost daily for just a small donation. Parents also have the chance to score some really great bargains from an almost inexhaustible supply of children’s clothing, toys, sportswear, and much more—and save a looooot of money!
For children (and their parents), we also offer many special features that make your vacation easier—especially by helping to minimize your luggage. The Millstatt Tourism Association offers a daily, extensive program for families with children!! More information available upon request!
We have the following items available for rent on-site: strollers, baby carriers, rain pants, and plenty of games and toys for all ages!
Right next to the vacation rental, there’s a large balcony with a view of the lake and cozy seating.
Enjoying the balmy evenings there after an eventful day and watching the sunset over the Goldeck is a fulfilling experience every single day.
In the garden, there’s a lovely lounge area available for our guests to use, as well as places to relax and sunbathe.
The region can be explored extensively on foot or by bike and captivates with its unique views and a wide variety of activities.
Right outside the door, the mountains and forest begin—a perfect starting point for hikes, both short and long.
You don’t have to get in a car to be out in nature. This is especially convenient for our guests with children and/or dogs.
There are several alpine huts in the immediate vicinity, offering magnificent views that you simply have to experience.
The Kaiserschmarrn or the Käsespätzle there are a must-try!
(Pichl Hut, Lammersdorfer Hut, Alexander Hut, Schwaiger Hut—all just a few kilometers away. Some are also very easy to reach on foot!)
Just a few minutes’ drive away, you’ll find:
Dellach with its beautiful beach;
where there’s a fantastic fish stand with always fresh fish and a stunning view of the lake;
Döbriach, with several beach resorts, shops, restaurants, and fun activities by the lake for all ages;
Radenthein, home to the Granatium, which is well worth a visit;
Millstatt, the nearest small town with plenty of charm;
Spittal in about 25 minutes;
Bad-Kleinkirchheim also reachable in 20–25 minutes;
Villach in 30 minutes
Klagenfurt in about 1 hour

The Millstätter See Inclusive Card is a ticket that opens up countless possibilities!
In addition to 40 free vacation attractions around Lake Millstatt, it also includes numerous discounts, bonus experiences, and a comprehensive range of transportation options.
Get around with the MIC:
The train station shuttle takes you from Spittal Train Station to your accommodations for a fare of 3€ (per person/trip).
With the MIC, guests can ride all public transit vehicles and the Nockmobil for a fare of €3 (per person/trip) for up to 20 km, or approximately 4 zones.
Travel through Carinthia for free on the S-Bahn lines: The MIC also serves as your ÖBB ticket for unlimited rides on local trains in Carinthia (bicycle transport not included).
On-site costs: • We generally rent on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. • Alternative dates and prices are available upon request. • Pets are allowed only upon prior arrangement. Pet fees are subject to prior arrangement. • A security deposit of 200€ per stay is required, which will be returned in full upon departure. • Final cleaning fee: 70 €
