At 1,670 m above sea level, very close to the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Carinthian Nockberge, guests can enjoy a breathtaking view of up to 40 mountain peaks - including unforgettable sunsets - in the certified workation partner business.
Discover the cozy Almwohnung Speikkofel on the 1st floor with two inviting accommodation options: The Almwohnung (54 m²) with a pine kitchen and the large living room with pull-out double sofa bed and the cozy windowsill. There is a double room with an extra bed and the large panorama balcony. In the bathroom there is a bathtub and the toilet. In the Zirben double room with an additional sofa bed for one person, there is a bathroom with shower and toilet (20 m²).
The Almwohnung Bretthöhe on the first floor (66 m²) offers a comfortable home in the middle of nature. With two Zirben bedrooms, a Zirben kitchen and a large living room with a pull-out double sofa bed and a panoramic windowsill, it meets a wide variety of needs. There is a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, towel dryer and an additional toilet. The covered balcony with 17 m² also invites you to linger.
The barrier-free Almwohnung Lattersteig on the lower first floor (51 m²) promises a comfortable stay in a natural environment. With two stone pine bedrooms, a kitchen-cum-living room including a pull-out sofa bed and a spacious bathroom with shower (shower stool), barrier-free toilet and towel dryer, it offers a wide range of amenities. The sunny terrace with seating invites you to relax outdoors. This apartment was certified by the ÖZIV Federal Association on 28.11.2023 and thus meets the criteria catalog Tourism for ALL!
The rustic HIASLHÜTTE has been renovated and equipped with local heating/central heating and electricity. On the first floor there is a kitchen-living room, a double room and the shower, toilet. On the 1st floor there is a balcony triple room, a double room with an extra bed and cot, 1 toilet.
Our popular dairyman's hut with a stone pine double room promises romantic hours on the alpine pasture. Especially for couples, this hut is a preferred refuge. The private fenced garden with table, bench and deck chairs offers an idyllic retreat.

The ALMMATURA is for young and old, for heart and brain. You will learn how to milk the udder of the pine cow Zirbale, work wood, taste and get to know the rural alpine farming.
We will spoil you with dishes of Nockfleisch: pancake and liver dumpling soup, grilled beef, roast pork with bread dumplings, Wiener Schnitzel, our Hiasl Burger, Carinthian noodles... There is also the Hiasl Zirbenjaus ́n, the already famous Glundner cheese, sandwiches, Kaiserschmarrn, Carinthian Reindling, apple pie, curd strudel and much more
Costs on site: Dogs are welcome in the Hiaslhütte and in the Sennerhütte! For your four-legged friend, the stay is € 10,--/night. All offers including final cleaning, bed linen & towels Excluding local and overnight tax. Hiaslhütte: including firewood. Slow food breakfast or half board bookable! From mid-March to the beginning of May and in November no catering is possible - Almgasthof is closed.
Arrival is possible from 13:00 to 20:00 and departure from 08:00 to 10:30.
