The cottage was perfect; it had everything you might need for a short stay, and more! The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, with a basket of local produce, fresh flowers and goodie bags for the dogs - such a lovely touch.The location is perfect for exploring the local area, however when I visited it was too hot for the dogs to go out, so we ended up mostly staying at the cottage, which was pleasant. The private courtyard with comfotrable garden furniture was a perfect spot to relax. The thick walls of the cottage meant it stayed cool inside whilst the sun raged outside! The bed was super comfortable and I loved the plush towels - they appeared brand new!Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would 100% recommend to others and would book again myself.

The cottage was beautiful , pet friendly , lovely welcome pack , the bed was so comfortable , the cottage is in a ideal location for access to all the local places to visit . Had a lovely stay ( even though the weather wasn’t the best )

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kingfisher Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful setting.From the moment we arrived, Janet and Mark made us feel so welcome. They were so friendly and kindly showed us around the cottage and facilities, which was such a lovely personal touch. The welcome pack for us and our dogs was incredibly thoughtful, and the fresh flowers were a beautiful touch that made the cottage feel so inviting.The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. It genuinely felt like a home from home — comfortable, cosy, and very well equipped.The location is stunning, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The two enclosed dog fields were absolutely perfect for us and a huge bonus, as our dogs loved having the space to run around safely.Janet and Mark were fantastic hosts throughout and so welcoming, even when we had a little mishap with the key!We loved every minute of our stay, and our dogs did too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kingfisher Cottage and will definitely be returning.
