About this house rental
Bring the whole family to a roomy (2100+sq ft), pet-free home with lots of privacy and an open floor plan. Gather around the fireplace in our large family room. Curl up and watch a movie on our 50” smart TV, or relax in our reading nook. Lots of table space for family dinners or games in the family room, dining room, or kitchen. Living room seats 9+ and french doors and a pocket door make this space private when the sofa bed is pulled out.
Surrounded by fields and garden on a quiet road, it's the perfect place to unwind. Your closest neighbor is a full mile away both to the east and to the west and there are unhindered views of both sunrises and sunsets.
Fully-equipped kitchen and table seating areas in the kitchen, dining room and family room. Comfy beds sleeping 8. Blackout curtains and eye shades help you get a great night’s sleep. Two full baths. Lots of closet space. Laundry room with washer, dryer, sink, ironing board and iron. Separate desk/office space away from the rest of the house allow quiet time to work.
The house is all one level with no stairs. Parking for 6 cars in the driveway.
Everything in the house is available for use by guests with many extras. Private yard for kids to play or enjoy the wildlife. Free WiFi.

You may want to bring your groceries and beverages with you. There is a full-size refrigerator in the kitchen with a freezer below. The closest convenience store is 5 miles away (10 minute drive) in Metamora, or full grocery stores in Blissfield, 6 miles; Adrian, 9 miles; or Sylvania, 12 miles.

This property worked very well for our families needs. There are few rentals in the area, and none that would accommodate our party, and still had plenty of room to move about freely for a very reasonable cost. The home was clean, family friendly (with a bit of nostalgia), easy sleeping & dining accommodations, fun games and many extras that we didn't need to bring anything to the home but our own food! So nice! The hosts are kind & generous in hospitality and we loved the 'extra touch' they provided. It was neat to learn of the property's history as well. Thanks for a great stay! When we are back in the area we will definitely book again!!

We had a great stay at "Gathering Home". Check-in was easy and the Welcome Book and our host answered all our questions. It was a sea of calm in a hectic trip to Michigan. Now that we have family in the area we will definitely be staying again.

We were very pleased with our stay. It was very spacious, comfortable, well supplied, and in a quiet, peaceful location. The homemade bread and jam to welcome us was delicious. We would love to stay again.
