Enjoy our home on the west side of Devils Lake on beautiful Horton Beach!
We rent to families/friends in groups of 8 maximum, which includes children & guests
20 ft of lake frontage directly across the street
100 ft dock (new in 2020) shared with only one other homeowner
Steps at dock to easily access the lake
Clear, shallow water at dock with sandy bottom
Plenty of room to play at the lake and park your boat (our guests have the entire left side of the dock)
Bring your own boat or rent one from Rob's Rentals or Manitou Beach Marina

Our family visited in late June. The house was very clean & was more spacious than I expected from the photos. The neighborhood was quiet; a lot of people going on walks & kids riding bikes. The water is shallow past the pier so my kids could swim without me worrying (since they’re young & can’t swim well yet). We had a nice time.

Expected by pictures for home to be dated, but not in barely working order.
I asked 2 weeks in advance if they had a grill - she answered yes. When we got there, in the laminated binder, it said only right side and middle worked. So obviously this has been an ongoing issue they chose not to fix. My husband turned the gas on and it was leaking and smelling terribly of gas we deemed unsafe to light. I brought $80 worth of food to grill for 2 days now done inside on stove.
Multiple sliding glass doors were hard to view out of due to broken seals/foggy and again in binder we were instructed not to open several and one only part way.
Upstairs bedroom railing on balcony was broken and a big safety feature.
Refrigerator door handle taped on with sticky duct tape.
A big bees nest was inside wooden deck w several severely loose boards. We attempted to sit on the deck multiple times but it seemed to stir up the bees so gave up.
House in need of multiple repairs. Not sure if it is the owners, management team or who that is dropping the ball but these issues are obviously ongoing and not new.
