Spacious, open first floor gives your group plenty of relaxing space. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two main-floor bedrooms, one with a full size bed and one with bunk beds, and a bath with a claw-foot tub. The winding staircase takes you to the master bedroom, master bath that has a jacuzzi tub, and in-house laundry.

Outside, the open patio gives you a great view of the canal which leads to Wampler's Lake. Relax by the fire pit, chat with friends while enjoying the patio umbrella, table and chairs, or go for a stroll through the welcoming neighborhood.

Recent upgrades include a new front patio & steps, and a new seawall and dock. Fresh lawn to go along with the upgrades means there's great space for yard games and for everyone to play.

You are a short walk to Jerry's Pub and only minutes to drive to Hayes State Park, downtown Brooklyn, and MIS speedway featuring NASCAR and Faster Horses. Enjoy the many attractions the Irish Hills has to offer such as antique shops, wineries, and local festivals.

This VRBO was the most well stocked place we have ever stayed at, which I greatly appreciated. From the kitchen, to the linen, to toilet paper. Just really well thought out. Thank you!!We loved the neighborhood, everyone was friendly and welcoming. There was lots and lots of fishing for our little ones which they thoroughly enjoyed. We caught fish, bullfrogs, and a turtle which of course we put back into the lake, but the kids were just thrilled. I especially loved the open concept of the home. We have family over by Jackson and Marshall and this place was perfect for everyone to come visit for a few hours and then head back home. Thank you so much for the comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and the furniture in the living room was also nice.

The house is in a peaceful neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We were greeted and welcomed by many as were our dogs. The neighborhood was also full of rabbits, which ultimately caused the most excitement in our house for the family, but especially for the dogs. There's also a rabbit making a burrow in the backyard, so we all got a bit of entertainment watching that take place.If you plan to stay, but not go outside, I'd recommend bringing your Roku or fire stick for the TV. We using casting to watch shows when we were there.The house is well stocked with pillows and blankets and the kitchen is extremely organized. I hope the next vacationers enjoy the space as much as we did.

Nice little spot down the canal from Wamplers. Short distance from Jerry’s Bar and restaurant as well. Eric was very prompt with communication and the patio was a good place to grill(charcoal) and relax.

We had a great experience overall! Although we had to shorten our stay and didn’t get to fully enjoy everything the cabin had to offer, we were impressed by how remarkably clean it was. This property was exactly as described. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen items (no food, that's on you), plenty of games, beds were very comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet, might been the time of year, but very charming. The only thing I can complain about is the TV, it would be nice to be able to get local news & weather for the surrounding areas. I have no idea how to cast to the TV, of course my daughter and grandson did. But there is no way to receive any weather details. No real complaints. Clean, comfy beds, clean linens, clean fridge, and so on. BUT, There are really scary trip hazards at the front of the property from parking spaces to stairs. We would HIGHLY recommend changing that before someone trips and cracks their skull open on the stone steps or stone yard. This property is also listed to have a “hot tub” but it’s really a bath tub with jets.

Great stay. Please put a book or brochure that explains how to use things. Also, let clients know that there are ice trays. We never saw them and we kept trying to use the water on the fridge and the icemaker, and there was no note to say that did not work so we had to buy ice. The trays are hidden, and none of us found them until night. We were leaving. Your pan for making eggs his loss all of its nonstick cookware cookware. The access to the TV was a no go! We all tried and gave up. But overall, we loved the place and we’re very happy with our stay for the most part even though upstairs was a little warm just up the AC and we were fine. The Jacuzzi tub upstairs was awesome and our last night we relaxed, and that was great! If if you could list in your online information that you have limited oil for cooking, that would be awesome. We would’ve brought it.😎🐾

What an amazing host!! So easy to communicate with, always responsive and helpful with questions. Our team traveled from Bradley University to compete in the formula car competition at MiS. Wampler’s Lake Cottage is a good halfway point between Cleveland and Chicago for our family. The cottage is clean and orderly, stocked with supplies. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 dogs. Neighborhood is very friendly! Check in and Check out was seamless with the host providing detailed instructions. Nice area by the lake and within walking distance to Jerry’s Pub which is such a cool place. We also visited Tecumseh for hiking and shopping. Would definitely return to the cottage.

This is our second time staying here. Great location, close to Jerry’s Pub which is lots of fun. Clean and plenty of room for our group of 8 ladies. Property manager was easy to contact and easy to work with..even left us a nice surprise for our second visit! Would recommend to anyone that wants a nice getaway. Kitchen was also well stocked for our needs.
