Very nice location, pretty much right at the edge of the French Quarter. Going into the apartment was a bit weird, almost like a maze. Had a bit of trouble leaving the apartment on checkout. An exterior door was locked from the inside of the building you pass through to exit, no response from the host. Figured out an alternate exit and it worked out. The apartment had some quirks, but nothing major. Overall a pretty nice spot.

The host is very responsive and helpful. The location is excellent if you want easy access to the french quarter and the bus / trolley line.
Rating a 3/5 for the following reasons:
Bed and futon couch aren't comfortable. They get the job done.
The unit was only stocked with a small roll (or less than a whole roll) of 1 ply tp. I don't know if this is an oversight or intentional for the property management but it's cheap and poor service to not have multiple rolls of tp for guests with what we're paying. Tp isn't a negotiable necessity and one roll is insulting.
The shower head is all kinds of messed up. Most of the nozzles on the shower head are clogged or broken somehow so they spray at weird angles or don't spray at all. The ones that do spray straight are under unusually high pressure due to the clogged ones so you end up feeling like it's trying to blast your skin off. It's really uncomfortable. Also the whole bathroom floor and countertops end up soaked after each shower no matter what you do.
All in all, the oversights make this feel like a cheap experience. The location is amazing for the convenience and price. But there's some basic hospitality and comfort oversights that make this an underwhelming experience. I would expect any hotel or vacation rental to be able to cover having enough tp for guests (definitely more than one roll; cmon!) and have a working shower head.
