Summary:
This home sits on a private hilltop home, situated right in Downtown Roanoke, a 1 minute drive to any place downtown, a 10 minute walk, or a $4.80 Uber! Enjoy being the only house in the area with it's own private parking.
Home sleeps 4 people. Everything has been COMPLETELY gutted and renovated from the bottom up. Brand new bathroom with RAINFALL shower head, tank less hot water heater (unlimited hot water, take as long of a shower as needed). Kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances.
The Space:
2 bedrooms, each with a QUEEN size bed. These are BRAND NEW memory foam mattress. Floating nightstands in each bedroom, with led lamps and phone chargers in place.
The unit over 1400 square feet, so plenty of room for up to 4 people to sleep comfortably.
Each bedroom has its own 55" LED TV with the living room having a 65" LED TV. There is a Roku attached to each Tv, you can stream Netflix, HBO, Disney, Amazon and more! (Please note we don't provide streaming accounts, you will be required to use your own)
Treat the place as if it were your own, you have access to everything, use anything in the place, along with the private balcony.

The Neighborhood:
Great neighborhood, you are close enough to walk anywhere within 10 minutes but far enough away that the late downtown noise won't keep you up!
Getting Around:
I recommend either a car or Uber to get around!

This location was a perfect place to rest a cross-country road trip. It was easy to find, centrally located, quiet, and with excellent parking. It had all the an accommodations we could need. The bathroom amazing. Appliances were fantastic. The entire place was smartly decorated and comfortable.

Overall our stay was good there. They were having trouble with the hot water. It cut off three times but they got it fixed pretty quickly. The beds are advertised as queen size but unfortunately that is incorrect. The beds are full size, both of them. So they either need to correct the advertised size or replace them with queen size.

Overall, the experience was pretty good. There were a few issues. I talked to the host about these things and he said he was going to check on them. The beds were advertised as queen size in both bedrooms. Unfortunately this is incorrect. The beds were only full size. But overall I would recommend this property.

Its not the property owners fault, its vrbos. I set the filters to find a vacation home for the weekend. Was disappointed when i arrived at a property that was listed under houses but turned out to be a home turned into 4 appartment units. Taking my partner for a private romantic weekend that ended up being fine, but thin walls and hard floors made it difficult to not hear the family above us. The actual place was fine, though the furniture in the living room is worn, and the metal frames in the beds weren’t great.
