Welcome to Haus Eifelrose
Quietly located in a small suburb, this newly renovated 70-square-meter vacation rental offers everything 2–4 people need for a wonderful vacation.
In the town of Ulmen, just 3 km away, you’ll find everything you need for daily life, such as bakeries, butchers, and supermarkets. There are also restaurants, snack bars, and an ice cream parlor in town.
In addition to the castle ruins, you can see and explore not only the youngest maar in Central Europe (Ulmener Maar) but also the oldest maar in Germany (Jungferweiher). Since April 2023, it has also been possible to walk through the Ulmener Maar Tunnel, a passageway connecting the two maars that was constructed as far back as the Middle Ages. The multi-award-winning hiking trail “Wilde Endert ” also begins here and takes you all the way to Cochem.
There’s plenty to explore in the surrounding area as well, such as the Dauner Maare, Manderscheid with its castles and the castle via ferrata that opened in 2023, Cochem with its imposing Reichsburg, and even the Nürburgring is only 20 km away.
Whether you’re hiking, biking (there are special bike buses here), or simply relaxing, the Vulkaneifel has something for everyone.

4-Bed vacation rental with shower/toilet for up to 6 people:
Our beautiful and comfortable vacation apartment features a large bedroom with a box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm) and a TV, as well as a small bedroom with a box-spring bed (140 x 200 cm). The cozy living/dining room features a comfortable couch—which can be converted into an additional sleeping area (approx. 120 x 200 cm) if needed—a TV, and a dining table that seats up to 6 people. The fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher) also includes a filter coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster. The bathroom with shower and toilet was completely renovated in 2023. Outside, there is a private covered patio with a table and benches, as well as lounge chairs and an umbrella. Parking spaces are available right next to the house. We are happy to provide bed linens, hand towels, and dish towels.
On-site costs: The price includes electricity and Wasser.Im. The daily rate for the first 7 days includes one laundry package (towels, dish towels, and bed linens). For stays of 8 days or more, a flat fee of 5.00 € per person is charged for the second laundry package (towels and dish towels) (already included in the total price).From November 1 through April 30, a flat-rate heating fee of €10 per day will be charged as a surcharge (already included in the total price).Please note: For last-minute bookings made within 3 days of arrival, the full booking price must be paid via instant bank transfer. You will find the account information on your booking confirmation.
