A charming rustic and private 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Provencal villa with swimming pool set on 2500 m2 of land in a quiet area just over 5 km from the medieval village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup.
The garden is fully fenced for your privacy and safety - ideal for children and pets.
The property borders a forest.
South facing for maximum sunshine.
Views of the valley.
The driveway can easily accommodate 3 cars.
Our house has a lot of character.
We have a 9 meter by 4 meter swimming pool equipped with ladders as well as deckchairs to accommodate 8 people.
The views overlook the hills of the Gorges du Loup valley as well as the village of Bar sur Loup.
The pool and garden lighting is remote-controlled for an evening atmosphere.
There is a covered summer kitchen where one can relax. It is equipped with a Weber gas grill, fridge, sink, table and chairs. Outdoor games include a foldable ping pong table, basketball hoop and Ring Toss.
The villa is composed of 3 bedrooms. All three bedrooms are upstairs and have ceiling fans, pedestal fans, mosquito nets and built-in wardrobes (none are en-suite):
1) The master bedroom has a California king-size bed
2) The second bedroom has a double bed
3) The third bedroom has a double bed
We have two bathrooms with separate toilets. One on each level. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub and sink. And the downstairs bathroom has a shower and sink.
The living room is very spacious with vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, an air conditioning unit, a TV, a multitude of board games, and a dining area. The dining table doubles as a pool table if the tray is removed. The TV is set up as IPTV. We also offer a multitude of DVDs for adults and children. The sofa converts into a comfortable queen size bed.
The kitchen is very Provençal in design and equipped with an American fridge/freezer (water and ice dispenser), oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, double sink, washing machine, dryer, breakfast table and air conditioner.
The kitchen and living room have patio doors to a covered communal terrace where you will find an outdoor dining table with a ceiling fan and access to the pool area.
We are a pet-friendly house.
Our family home is only available for summer rental as we live there the rest of the year.
We are looking for a relaxed and positive energy clientele.
Our house is warm, welcoming and has a great atmosphere. It is the perfect place to relax in a peaceful setting. We love to cook, so the kitchen is fully equipped. We spend most of our time relaxing at home listening to music, cooking, swimming, playing cards, ping pong, board games, etc...
We have a dog so we walk daily. There are many places to walk, some on foot, some by car.
Unlike most homes in the area, the pool is on the same level as the house, so you can easily comfortably supervise young children, which is a huge plus.
We are about 5.6 km from our village of Tourrettes Sur Loup and 3.2 km from Pont du Loup.
Tourrettes Sur Loup is a very picturesque medieval village located on top of a cliff, famous for its production of purple flowers.
Tourrettes sur loup is located between the mountains and the sea. It is located on the hills, just 14 km from the coast, between Nice and Cannes.
History of Tourrettes Sur Loup:
A tribe of Celtic Ligurians settled here at the beginning of the 9th century BC. Later in 262 BC. the Romans came to occupy "turres altea" (the observation point) whose name would later give rise to "Tourrettes" and remained there until 476 AD. where a period of 500 years of invasions began.
Pont du Loup is a small village straddling the Loup River. It has a lovely restaurant, a local beer garden, a confectionery and a shop that offers fun river activities such as canyoning. The Pont du
