The host was very responsive with good suggestions/answers to questions, etc. The pool was not heated but in warmer months it would be great. The lovely view was the outstanding feature of this home for us, along with attractive landscaping and outside lighting at night, and a short walk to Tourette Sur Loup.

We are 3 couples touring the south of France for RWC and were lucky enough to stay at Angelique’s villa for a week. It’s a great place to relax by the pool, share a glass or two of wine in the hot tub, an evening barbecue, game of boules or explore and try some of the lovely restaurants of Tourette’s De Loup - which is a lovely old town. The villa is very well appointed and roomy. Angelique is a great host. Thank you!

It is a breathtaking setting, looking out to the med from the pool, jacuzzi, terrace, bedrooms or the boules court. Everywhere you are looking directly through the olive groves to the little villages and hills and then out to sea. One of the best views we’ve ever enjoyed- quintessentially Provence. We had my mother and our two teenage boys with us and the layout worked very well, although the fourth bedroom lacked a bathroom. Although there was a separate loo downstairs, all 3 bathrooms are linked to the bedrooms so someone will have to share if you use the 3rd bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms have nets on the windows so you can sleep with fully open windows looking out to sea - there is no aircon, so you will need to do that in the summer. Worth paying extra to heat the saltwater pool, as we did, as it was perfect at about 27 degrees. The house is equipped with absolutely everything we needed, and we took advantage of the huge gas Weber Bbq almost every day. Breakfast or dinner on the veranda was brilliant. Only downsides are a bit of road noise from behind the house (not v noticeable), an annoying drone from their neighbour over the house (probably already dealt with), the bedroom on the ground floor has no fly nets - you have to sleep with the windows closed- it was warm in June so I can imagine it will be very warm in the summer. Finally, the short walk to the pretty town of tourettes (5 mins) has a 50m stretch on a busy road with no path - felt quite risky.

The location of the house was fantastic, ideal for the local village or further afield in the hills or going to the coast. The gardens, pool and outside spaces were superb and offered ample places to relax, eat and drink. There is plenty of secure parking and a real sense of isolation when the electric gate closes. The check-in process was good but the house would have benefitted from a welcome book just for that little bit more information. The house was ok, some parts were a little tired and could do with a revamp but everything was clean. The en-suite toilet in the main bedroom was taped off and couldn’t be used, meaning a walk through the living room and kitchen to use the toilet in the night which was a little disappointing. One thing worth noting, the other bedroom en-suite bathrooms don’t have doors, so you have to be very friendly with your room companion to use. The other frustration was the house owner kept sending e-mails or text messages trying to arrange coming around for a ‘greeting’, this turned into wanting to come round for an inspection. I’m on holiday and have paid a lot of money to stay at the house, I don’t want to arrange my holiday around the owner dropping in. I’m also getting on a bit and I’m responsible enough to look after the house as if it’s my own. It didn’t ruin the stay but it certainly didn’t help the relaxation of it. Overall great location, superb pool and beautiful views, if we we could have been left alone to enjoy it, it would have been perfect.

Really lovely villa and pool in great location within walking distance of the village. Our only regret was that we used air conditioning as one of the filters when we selected the villa, but there were only ceiling fans, and not in every room and it was incredibly hot when we were there. We should have double checked the property details, but vrbo shouldn't have included it within the air conditioned list

Location, and outside pool/hot tub are the highlights. This is a really great location. Walking disctance to local village. The Loup valley is a superb venue for outside activities, world class cycling routes, great walks. Pool is really well maintained, as is the hot tub. All perfectly clean. Property is a perfect size for a family 5-8 people. All the amenities worked well. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms all in excellent condition. This is an ideal place to see close to Nice and vence, yet peaceful in the hills. We will be returning. Thank you.

We enjoyed an amazing week in the villa. The check-in was easy and the hosts were always available to assist. The property is located a few minutes away from the village and we enjoyed being able to walk in for dinner, quick essentials and especially the bakery! The property is pretty amazing. The outdoor space is the best of any home we have rented in France. The view was spectacular. The pool and hot tub were great. There was a lot of space and although there were only 2 of us, we could easily see this as a perfect place for a large family. The beds were comfortable and the house had all the essentials required for a comfortable stay. We would absolutely return for a second visit.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine en famille (3 générations) dans cette belle maison. Le jardin est magnifique. La piscine est parfaite. La vue absolument superbe. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut dans la maison et le beau petit village est très sympa pour faire les courses et aller au restaurant. Nous avons fait du e-bike pour visiter les alentours. C’était un moment fort du séjour. Les enfants ont profité tous les jours de la piscine chauffée malgré des températures extérieures pas très élevées et l’ado a apprécié le spa. Les cerises du jardin etaient succulentes. Merci à Angélique et Stéphane pour leur accueil et pour ce séjour!

We had a wonderful stay in Angelique and Stephan’s villa. The place was spotless and well equipped. The location is brilliant with a very easy walk into the village which is a perfect medieval gem. There are plenty of restaurants and shops and a couple of fantastic boulangeries. It is easy to get to anywhere on the coast in a short time but you do need a car. Personally I preferred the foothills. The views are to die for from every room and the beds are very comfortable. We always had very good communication with Angelique and had any queries answered straight away. They leave you alone when your there but if you need them they are only a phone call away. So basically you have complete privacy, even to pool cleans itself. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa and would go back in a heartbeat. Gros biscous Sharron

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely villa. It had everything we needed and the setting was perfect overlooking the valley below. We were welcomed by Angelique who showed us around and how everything worked. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous pool and boules court, and loved sitting outside on the terrace for meals. The villa is within walking distance of the village with bakeries (croissants for breakfast), Cafes, restaurants (including one with a Michelin star - highly recommend). Both the outdoor and indoor spaces were well equipped and spotlessly clean. Only one slight niggle for us which was exiting the villa by car as it is located on a bend - but there is a mirror on the wall opposite so you just need to take care. Otherwise no hesitation in giving five stars and would definitely go back.

We (x4 adults and x2 children - 4 and 8 years old) had a wonderful stay at Angelique's house. It is well equipped with everything you need. The shady area on the porch was lovely when the sun was too hot. The pool is great and many games of Boule were enjoyed overlooking a fantastic view of the hills and sea. The lovely town of Tourettes sur Loup is only a short walk away, with a great Boulangerie, Ice Cream and small Boutique shops. A good choice of cafes and restaurants and a market on a Wednesday morning. Larger Supermarkets are easily found in Vence a short drive away. We would recommend and would be happy to return on another occasion.

We stayed here for two weeks in June 2017 and had a wonderfully relaxing time. The house is nicely decorated and very well-equipped, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the three en-suites were just right for our group. The garden and pool with view to the sea are brilliant and we spent most of the time outside or eating al fresco on the patio. Angelique and Stephan were very welcoming and made sure that arrangements ran smoothly. One reason we chose this house was the location, with a range of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance (about 10 mins). Tourrettes sur Loup is a lovely little town and worked well for for our group.

Four of us stayed in this beautiful house for two weeks.it is well situated for visiting the mountain villages and the coast we went to nice, Monaco, and Antibes all easy to get to. Pool and amazing views were fabulous to come back to. Very clean and everything we needed for a relaxing holiday, Tourette's is just a short walk and we had some lovely eve out. Thank you Stephane and Angelique for the lovely welcome and booze in the fridge.

Very nice place

We spent a wonderful week in October at this place. We were two families with kids from 8-13. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. The house is spacious an the interiour cozy. The pool can be heated and is quite big. The view is very nice and after a couple of minutes walk you are in the beautiful town Tourettes sur Loup, wich is not too touristical but has a good choice of restaurants and shops. There is a main road behind the house and you do hear some traffic, but it did not bother us. And we like silence. So, we say Dankeschön and Aufwiedersehen to Angelique and her husband and hope to return one day. Uli et familles

Velbeliggende hus i gåafstand til Tourettes-sur-Loup. Velindrettet med store rum, fin plads til 8 personer. Pragtfulde terrasser og have med udsigt til Middelhavet. God pool, 12,5 m lang og vanddybde 1,6 m. Huset har ikke a/c, så kan være meget varmt. Huset ligger direkte ud til vej, så noget støj, men stedets øvrige kvaliteter opvejede for os denne ulempe. Annoncens fotos meget realistiske. Vi vender gerne tilbage.

Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Wir waren zwei Familien mit drei Kleinkindern. Das Haus ist gut geeignet für Kinder. Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und waren sehr bemüht uns auch spezialwünsche zu erfüllen. Das Haus ist top ausgerüstet und sehr sauber. Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Das hübsche Dorf ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar. We can recommend the house 100%. We were two families with three young children. The house is well suited for children. The owners are very accommodating and they were eager to meet our special requests. The house is fully equipped and extremely clean. We have no complaints and we I will return for sure! The pretty village is easily accessible by foot.

La maison est encore plus belle en vrai que sur les photos!!! La deco est magnifique, la cuisine super equipee, les 3 coins terrasse permettent de suivre l'ombre ou le soleil selon les gouts, les chambres sont tres grandes et la literie neuve, la piscine est super agreable, transats a l'ombre des oliviers, bref un vrai petit paradis! Et la cerise, Angelique et Stephane sont aux petits soins pour leur locataire. House is even better than on the pics. Decoration is gorgeous, kitchen well furnished, the 3 outside terrasses allow to be under the sun or the shade, bedrooms are big and beds are new, swimming pool is great and you can relax under the shade of olive trees, a true paradise! Icing on the cake, Angelique and Stephane are very caring about their guests, want you to feel at home and know the region perfectly so will recommend you where to go and what to do around.
