I would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed here for just one night. We needed to be in Hull for my daughter’s graduation. The house was cosy, warm and very clean. The hosts were friendly and welcoming . The house had its own driveway so no problem with parking.

Great for short breaks. In a good quite location. Perfect for the Deep. Nice warm house.

Lovley warm house. Great parking. Host was very helpful. Also wifi what wasnt expecting but a great bonus. Comfortable mattresses. In a good location. On nice street

The bedrooms could of done with bedsides and lamps. In the second bedroom there was no lamp or besides in the room at all. Just a hanging rail and bed. In the main room there was one bedside and a lamp. Would of been better with one each side. As had nowhere to put books/phones. Only on the floor.

The place was in need of a good clean and decorating. The mattress was too small for the bed and no pillow cases on the pillows. It was really cold on arrival as the windows had been left open. The back garden was very unkept and could use a lot of TLC

Good

The house was cosy and it had everything you needed. It was good to have parking. There was WiFi and towels. The hosts were good at communicating with us. The kitchen was very well equipped and we liked having a gas hob. The fridge freezer was a good size and its nice to have a dog friendly back garden. Its in a very convinent area close to shops. We would stay again thankyou.

The water pressure in the bath was very poor but it was a very nice large bath. The house could do with some maintenance eg some of the inside door handles need fixing and the handle on the bedroom window. The grass could do with a trim as well, but it didn't effect us.

A VFM booking.

This property is in a great location for our visit and the off road parking is a bonus.. It was clean with a cozy living room and well equipt kitchen downstairs with tea, coffee and sugar provided. Upstairs, the bedrooms have hanging rails and bedside tables with a lamps and the beds are comfy. The bathroom was clean and shampoo, conditioner and hand soap was provided.

If I need to find fault for the purpose of a ballanced review.. I was unable to use the wifi as the password was incorrect, the back garden needs mowing and the opening windows could do with their seals replacing. Over all it's a value for money stay in a quiet location. I'll book it again when I'm next visiting Hull.

Great place. Great value for money. It met all of our needs as a 4 person family.

Although it obviously isn't ideal that the toilet makes a trickling sound constantly, suggesting perhaps a plumbing issue, I must add that this did not affect our stay negatively although it may for others. Had to flush numerous times to avoid blockages! Also the freezer door doesn't properly shut which again, caused no issues whatsoever for us as we didn't use the freezer but if we were staying for longer it could have been an inconvenience Shame garden too over grown to use. Our boys would have benefitted from being able to access the garden but not useable.

Great little stopover.. in an ideal location

It was a really handy location for us visiting our daughter. Dog friendly and off street parking. The beds were really comfy and for the location it was really quiet. No road noise or any noise generally considering how busy the area was.

The garden was really overgrown which was a shame as our sausage dog loves to have a sniff round outside, but it was way over her head. Just a few cleaning issues.. i must say the bathroom was spotless, but there was sticky fingerprints all down our mirror in the bedroom that had been missed and something red and sticky had been spilt in the kitchen and dripped through into the lounge. And a random cigarette had been dropped under the radiator cover. These were minor issues as it served a purpose perfectly for our visit.

Not warned towels not supplied Grass knee high so not easy to hang washing Cooker had to be cleaned before use Gas fire open flame and not safe for young children

Ideal as a base

House was clean and beds were comfortable.

Steps to front and back door were difficult for our old dog. The grass needs to be kept shorter in the back garden. More information about the house would be useful e.g. we only found the ironing board as we were leaving, it would have been good to have found it sooner. Radiator cover is unstable - was very worried about the television falling off. We put the lovely cactus on the fireplace as we felt it was dangerous to be on the hearth with dogs around. Although we know Hull and went for a specific reason, there was limited informaton about things to see or do if people did not know the area, e.g parks, beaches etc.

Parking on site

The beds were dirty and unmade where previously slept in. Contacted the hosts who asked for pics which were sent then no reply from them at all. We ended driving the 2 hours home. Very disappointed and not happy at all
