Jardin Rooms

The location was incredible, very close to the Old Town. It was very easy to check-in and the host let us in early once everything was ready. It has a laundry machine, kitchenette with a stove top, and air conditioning.

The room is older and smaller than it appears in photos. The shower floor filled quickly with water and we had to let it drain repeatedly after after a few minutes of use. The bathroom had a particular smell to it that we weren’t able to get rid of with opening windows.

- Great location within easy reach of the bus station, train station, ferry port, and local supermarkets. - Check-in was smooth, and the host (Vedrana) kindly accommodated our request for an early check-in. - Vedrana was nice, welcoming, and responsive to messages during our stay. - Promptly provided extra coat hangers when requested. - The main building felt secure with a keypad entry, though other residents/guests often left the front door in an unlocked position. - Nicely decorated and mostly clean overall; with better attention to detail, our rating would be much higher.

- TV did not work during our stay; looking at past reviews, we can only assume this issue remains unaddressed. - Washing machine tray had black mould. Host offered to send a cleaner, but our schedule made this impractical, so we paid for a self-service laundry. - Listed as having a safe, but the host confirmed there wasn't one, concerning since we were out all day. - No toaster or microwave. The provided drying mat smelt too damp to use. - Intermittent drain smells in the bathroom and a persistent damp odour. Thin walls meant hearing neighbour noise, doors, and overhead laundry late at night/early morning. - Had to wipe table gaps (crumbs, dust, hair). Found a couple of hairs on the spare towels. - Lacks basic storage like drawers and a bathroom towel hook/rail. Mattress was fine, but pillows were uncomfortable (recognised as personal preference).

Excellent location. Extremely helpful host

Nothing

The Location was central to Old Town which was nice. Loved that it had a new washing machine and it worked great. Outlets were aplenty. Clean. The host was kind, thoughtful and responsive.

The bedding and pillows. The large pillows were bulky. The sheets felt like they need to be replaced.
