The Purple Horse Hotel Beijing

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Purple Horse Hotel Beijing. The hospitality, comfort, cleanliness, and location were all very good. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a bathtub, large shower, sofa, and desk. The only downside was the view — our window overlooked the inner courtyard where the garbage bins were kept, so there was essentially no view. The rooftop bar was a nice feature, with a lovely view of Beijing. There is also a pool, although it was quite small and not particularly comfortable to access, so we didn’t use it.

Food was a little more challenging for us due to our dietary preferences. I am pescatarian, and my friend avoids pork and fatty meats, so the breakfast buffet had limited options for us. We also had some difficulties arranging dinner. However, the staff were very kind and genuinely tried to help. A special mention to Kevin, who was extremely helpful and did his best to make our dinner as enjoyable as possible.

Well-furnished rooms with luxurious interiors, complemented by extremely accommodating and courteous staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The cleanliness and housekeeping deserve a 5-star rating. Overall, a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Beijing—highly recommended for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

The entry to the hotel is a little narrow, making it somewhat difficult for cars to navigate through the lane. However, I don’t think this takes away from the hotel’s biggest advantage—the excellent location right in the heart of Beijing.

Breakfast buffet was plentiful and very tasty. We were very happy to taste some of the local delicacies as well as mote traditional continental breakfast dishes. Awesome experience

Breakfast and Dinner were good, the chiefs were very accommodating, the staff were very nice and flexible, which was nice. The room was good and fairly modern, But it claimed it is a 5 star hotel which in our opinion is not. The swimming poor picture was a bit misleading as it is only a paddling pool small only for a few kids, we were not sure it was clean enough to use it as it could be because it is an outside pool which is a bit challenging to keep it clean all the time. The location is convenient if you are looking for a place to stay but not picky about the swimming pool, it is a good place to stay. We were very happy about the staff service particularly! 5 star staff but 4 stars facility. Overall, it is recommendable. We like the food.
