Very unhappy with Neighbour

The neighbour who I think is living at the property woke me up at 6:30am. I could hear his voice constantly for hours and his phone calls on speakerphone. This disturbed my sleep and my peace very early on a Sunday morning which has made me in a bad mood. I’ve had hardly any sleep because of him and have to check out in 2 hours. I’m not very happy as he will not shut up Also there is no hot tub or jacuzzi as advertised

If you want a bed, and don’t mind rough and ready, fine. Just dodge the stained carpets and hope your room is ready.

The bed was comfy, the WiFi fast and the Tv was large.

So, first of all this is a shared house. The advertisement was slightly deceptive on this. But that wasn’t really the issue. We never received a confirmation email, and the phone number attached didn’t connect. I was given a different contact number from another guest. They didn’t even know we were coming and one of the rooms was not made up. We were told it would be 2.5 hours before it would be ready. The upstairs shower barely worked and the downstairs one flooded the floor when used. They’re were questionable white stains on the carpet in one of the rooms. The kitchen was full of dirty towels and bedding.

Room and bed was comfortable and clean. It served its purpose.

The bathroom was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. Thankfully the toilet had been cleaned but that was the only bit.

Was told when arriving at the property that they had overbooked by one room, and we had booked two rooms. As we could not find alternative accommodation for the other two guests we reluctantly accepted to stay as four people in one room. Management agreed to refund us for one of the rooms, but we have yet to receive the promised refund for the overbooked room. Now believe this was a tactic to scam us out of money, as the place was eerily quiet which leads me to believe no one else was actually staying there.

Very poor, difficulties gaining access to room and in touch with them to sort out, so not book!

Decent room size and bed

Very difficult to check in. No staff on arrival, no details sent to see how to use lock box’s to get keys. Owner would not answer phone, it went straight to voicemail. Highly frustrating as I was in a rush. Also venue was over 30 mins away from town? Booking.com should not have such poor hotels on their site.

Disappointing

Given wrong pin number to enter the property but was let in by another guest. Couldn't access my room but keys had been left in another room so I stayed there but bed hadn't been changed or bin emptied etc, Stripped bed and slept on mattress. No staff around, called number for hotel but no reply. No coat hangers in closet.

There was no hot tub as advertised, it was really dirty. Toilets weren't cleaned, Baths weren't cleaned. Outdoors wasn't cleaned. They haven't given me a refund

Scam

This is a scam, I booked with the property, they sent an initial reply to confirm how many rooms which was incorrect from what I booked which I replied to and after that point received no contact from them despite multiple attempts to contact them. The phone number supplied was unreachable and I was never given any access codes for the property so was unable to stay there, they still took my money and booking.com have been no help in getting a refund as they also have ignored all my requests.

Avoid. We have booked for New Year's Eve. Arrived at the property and there was no communication from the owner. No code for the lock. We have called multiple times, no answer. We have waited 4 hours!!! Ended up in nearby Travelodge .It took 5 weeks to get a refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!!

The company is Scam and fraudsters. They never existed. My money was taken and they never answered the phone when I get to the property. I didn't get access into the property. I have to book another emergency hotel and paid extra for taxi again. Very very disappointed

Disastrous.

I had booked in, paid for (by creditcard). Staff did not turn up at the agreed time, no answer on app, mail of phonecalls. TG I could stay with friends. Next day a lot of apologies and "we will refund". Gave all the proper information for the refund and haven't seen a thing yet. Very bad experience, can't say a thing about the place itself as I have only seen the front door. I do not recommend this place, way out, If you don't have transport you're done.

Communication and the actual refund. Totally impossible to get in touch with them at the proper moment, and there you are, standing with only a suitcase and night is lurking.
