About this house rental
Welcome to your easy-going High Wycombe home-from-home! This bright two-bedroom house has everything you need to settle straight in, whether you’re staying for a few nights, a few weeks or considerably longer. Even better, all bills are included!
The Space:
Downstairs, you’ll find a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room with doors opening directly onto the private rear garden. There’s outdoor seating for morning coffees, evening drinks or simply making the most of the British sunshine whenever it decides to make an appearance. Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms and a modern bathroom, while allocated parking means there’s no nightly game of “find somewhere to leave the car”.
This is a real home that has been lived in, not a freshly built show home. While it’s modern, comfortable and nicely presented, you may spot the odd scuff, mark or imperfection from everyday life. We’d much rather be upfront about that — it has a few signs of being a well-loved home, but everything you need for a practical and comfortable stay is here.
With comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, private garden, parking and all bills taken care of, it’s an easy place to unpack and make your own for a while. Once your reservation is confirmed, Smarter Rent will ask for a copy of your ID and for you to sign our House Rules. Then all that’s left to do is choose your bedroom, put the kettle on and settle in.
The Neighborhood:
High Wycombe is brilliantly placed for a mix of town life and countryside adventures. You’re right on the edge of the beautiful Chilterns, so there are plenty of walking routes, woodland and rolling countryside when you fancy some fresh air. Closer to home, The Rye is great for a stroll or picnic, while National Trust - Hughenden offers historic Hughenden Manor, gardens, parkland and woodland walks. National Trust
For something a little different, explore the underground passages at The Hellfire Caves in West Wycombe, or pop into Wycombe Museum to discover the town’s surprisingly interesting furniture and chair-making history — yes, High Wycombe takes chairs rather seriously! The museum is also very close to the HP13 6GR area. Wycombe Museum
And when you simply fancy shopping, eating or grabbing a coffee, High Wycombe town centre is nearby, while Marlow and its lovely Thames riverside are an easy trip away. In short: countryside, history, caves, shopping and riverside pubs — not bad for one postcode.
Getting Around:
Getting around is nice and straightforward from here. High Wycombe railway station is around 1.6 km away, with Chiltern Railways services towards London Marylebone, Beaconsfield, Oxford and Birmingham — particularly handy if you’re heading into London for the day. Get The Data
For local journeys, you’ve got bus stops practically on the doorstep. Totteridge Drive is roughly 70–80 metres away, with Hardenwaye and Totteridge Lane also nearby.
