The accommodation is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day, resulting in a lack of privacy. Guests are not allowed to bring acquaintances into the property, and doing so requires additional charges. Although the property is rented as an entire house, guests are still required to pay extra accommodation fees per person. Additionally, no damage was caused to the room by any guest, yet the property still charged extra fees and refused to refund the 250-pound security deposit. The property owner is male, and due to the constant CCTV monitoring, this accommodation may not be suitable for female guests. ✳️ If you are considering staying here, please think carefully before making a decision.

This property was perfect for myself and my family. Comfortable, well equipped, and ideal for our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily return.

Location to what I needed for the stay

Very clean and welcoming, good internet access.

Location slightly further out from where we needed to be, bedrooms on the smaller side with very limited storage (ok for us but could be a problem if staying for a longer period), parking space not always easy to obtain near to the apartment.

Hw flat review I'd say the review is divided in two parts: the apartment and the company that runs it. 1. We really liked the apartment. The sofa is comfortable for 4 people, the kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms have very nice beds, the apartment's decor is 10/10, and everything is very harmonious. Regarding noise in the apartment, we didn't hear any noise from the neighbors, and we rested very well. I just think they should put up blackout curtains to keep out the light, since the bedrooms face an outside hallway that's lit all night. For those of us from southern Europe, it's very important that there's no light, since it doesn't let us sleep, especially the children. That would make It a 9/10.

2. The company, a 3. There are several things we didn't like about what this company. 1. The apartment is located on a street other than the one Booking says it is on. The instructions for entering were sent to us 30 minutes before the 3:00 PM check-in. The airport taxi dropped us off on the other street, so we had to walk to the other one. Thank goodness it's 3 minutes away. 2. They made us sign a contract (it wasn't in the conditions signed with Booking) that didn't allow any outsiders to come and visit. Our visit was to see my wife's mother, who lives in this city. She wasn't able to even have a cup of tea with us. Therefore, if you're visiting someone in the city, I don't recommend this apartment (there's a camera on the door that monitors who comes and goes at all times). 3. They came and cleaned in the middle of our two-week stay. We appreciated it, but instead of doing it at a time that suited us (in the morning), it was from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. We had to leave at lunchtime and go downtown to wait for them to finish. We asked for a mop to clean the kitchen and bathroom ourselves, but they didn't bring it. They also didn't bring us sheets to swap with the duvet which was incredibly hot. We asked for It but they ignored our request. 4. The blind plinth fell on us when we were opening the blind. Very dangerous. Then they charged us for putting it back at the end of our stay. In summary, the flat is an ex council type flat in an area full of similar flats/homes. Well decorated but the company that manages It doesn't manage It very well.
