Casa da Luz - Country House with Terrace

Its a nice size country house with nice walks to do from the doorstep. Be aware that 2 of the bedrooms and bathroom are only accessable via an out door stair and not connected internally in the house. Its a nice country house but be prepared for it to feel like an older country house. Slightly musty with older furniture but spacious kitchen and nice little terrace outside. Bedrooms are not very big and beds were not that comfortable as they were a bit creaky and had very noisy undersheets. Kitchen could do with the utensils and things being updated but was relatively welll stocked for cooking some basic meals. Staff were good and quick to communicate and try to solve a few small issues we came across. Upstairs bathroom is newly renovated and downstairs bathroom was large and functional.

We booked last minute but a few things needed more attention when we arrived and the staff had to come back to check on some things for us. O.K stay if you don't mind an old farm house feel
