We had a lovely stay in the cottage, and we’re thankful for how nice and cool the cottage was in the middle of a heatwave. The cottage is cosy and has everything needed for a lovely stay, we hope to return and would certainly recommend!

The pub & cottages are in a lovely location. It was so peaceful! We did quite a bit of travelling around & it was a great base. Kate greeted us on arrival & was very friendly & polite. The cottage is well equipped for a short stay. We didnt do much cooking, just breakfast & found everything we needed for this. As the weather was so nice, we made use of the table & chairs outside most days, to take in the views. I also have to mention George who lives in the end cottage. What a lovely man who had plenty of interesting stories to tell & recommendations for places to visit. Barry the dog was always a welcomed visitor too!

The bathroom was a little tired & dated & we did have issues with the toilet not flushing & constantly refilling. This was sorted by the owner the following day but we did feel like we were pestering them to get it fixed. I also noticed the night before we left that the fridge/freezer seemed to keep turning itself off as the ice left in the freezer was melting & collecting on the kitchen floor. I was going to mention this the following morning when we left but there was nobody about. Im not sure if it was a faulty connection.
